It was just another Day in the halls of Mandos.
(Y/N) briskly strides to the tall, heavy, dark doors of the hall. Pushing them apart she took a deep breath, picked up the Hem of her robes, and entered into the main hall.

"What's on the agenda today?" Asked (Y/N), looking up at the towering form of her Superior: Lord Námo, One of the seven Valar, ruler of the Halls of Mandos.
"Normal routine, (Y/N)" Námo drawled, dryly. He added on as an afterthought "Oh, we do have 3 more souls arriving this evening, at noontide. You are to go and receive them when they arrive" he continued, a bit more keenly than before. " Who is it?" You inquired, curious. "You'll see when you get there" he stated. "Couldn't you just give me a bit more detail? For Bedding arrangements." You finished.
"Just the standard, have some medical supplies on hand though just in case" said he, dismissing you with the flick of a hand. "Oh and (y/n), take Moose and the cart there, they are bound to be weary" he stated, just as you passed through the door. You looked back with a nod and calmly left.
"Take Moose and the cart?" You pondered, "if they are THAT tired then..... " Your thoughts trailed off as you walked through the halls, taking care of souls here and there, a smile in between, and so forth.
"If they are that tired then they already must have started to fade" you wondered inwardly, looking at the time keeper. It was about noontide (4:00-6:30 pmish) so you hurried to hitch Moose to the large, heavy, wooden cart.
(^^^^Moose^^^^^)
Doing your final checking on the harness and breeching, you climbed up on the wagon, gathered your reins, and clucked on Moose: "Walk on boy" you said firmly.
Moose blinked slowly, swished his tail once, and then set off at a decent trot.
The trip to the dock took about 15 minutes, so you had a lot to think about: what would they be like? Would they be faded? Where they Male or Female?, Would they like you? You pondered in silence, occasionally out loud to Moose as you passed residential street after street, and market stall after market stall. The streets were packed at times, and it only got worse as you got closer to the docks. Eventually, about a 1\4 of a mile from the docks, you had to hitch Moose and walk the rest of the way on foot.
"Be good, atta big boy" you crooned to Moose, scritching his right shoulder, where the neck and shoulder blended together. He stuck out his neck and rubbed his chin on your shoulder in thanks. He gave a snort as if he understood, as you turned away and plunged into the busy street.
It took waaay longer than it should have to get to the dock, but once you reached it, you found your friend: Telripion, one of the dock workers.
"Another shipment?" He asked, winding a piece of rope and further anchoring the ship that it was attached to. "Yeah, 3 new souls should of just arrived" you cooly answered back. "New ship just came in, I'll ask the captain about them" he grinned at you, now done with the rope, patting you on the arm albeit a bit firmly. He was gone in a flash and when he didn't came back after a while, you began to worry. It was getting dark soon and you had started to anxiously pace the dock, going over sinarios in your head. Finally, a figure was seen in the gloaming, walking towards you from the ship, but upon further hopeful inspection it turned out to be just another boat worker who nodded curtly before walking past you towards land. You sighed disappointedly and let yourself sink down, leaning against a post. You groaned frustratedly and stared up at the sky, gazing at the stars and thought back to old memories, back when you were a little girl, and would sneak out at night to watch the stars. You remembered your mother and father, recalling that since before you were born your mother had been sick. A tear made its way to your eye, threatening to spill over. Your mother had fought for all the time she could, but she inevitably died when you were 9 years old. Now you were going on (y/a) but the memories were still raw. Being a Maia ment that you didn't forget hardly anything, which was a blessing and a curse. The Tears that threatened to fall trickled down your cheeks, down your neck, and pooled in your collar bones. You angrily wiped them away, but they didn't stop falling. Finally, you stopped fighting back, and sat there unmoving, with tears falling down your face.
You hadn't meant to fall asleep, but you awoke with a start when a tall presence loomed over you. You stood up quickly and nodded in greeting.
"Hello, I am (y/n) and you are?" You said, flashing a smile at the stranger. "My name is Maedhros, I and my two brothers Caranthir and Celegorm are looking for the one sent to receive us" he stated. His voice was cold as ice, and had an intimidating dominance to it, but it had an overtone of weariness to it that made it easy to look past. "My apologies, I was waiting but I did not see you so I waited for my friend to return with news, and fell asleep. What time is it?" You asked looking at the sky. The last stars were just fizzing out but the sun had not raised her head yet. He gave you a shrug and stood silent. "Well I guess we should be off, we'll have to walk a bit to the cart I'm afraid" you quipped, "the traffic was too bad last night.. Anyhow !!" You took the lead, with Maedhros following behind, silent......
