You are a Therapist in the halls of Mandos, helping the souls who are a bit more.. broken.
But when the sons of Feanor waltz into the picture, everything gets turned on it's head.
Maybe it's time to Admit who actually needs the therapy....
You started off at a brisk walk, beckoning Meadhros to follow you. But then you stopped. You felt silly,"I'm sorry to ask, but... Where are the other 2?" You asked, staring at your feet. Maedhros rolled his eyes, huffed, and brushed past you, heading for the land. As you caught up you heard him mumbling to himself, trying to understand as you had to run to keep up, you caught on to what he was saying.
"Trust a Valar to send the most stupid, incompetent maia ever", "this was so stupid","why did I agree to accept the Valars 'forgiveness'", "I should never of listened to Celegorm".. you were pretty hurt at the first bit, but you pushed passed it, and looked ahead. The land was coming into view, and you could just make out three figures ahead, the morning was foggy though and you couldn't make out their forms clearly.
When you had made the short walk back, you saw their faces clearly.
Celegorm was tall, but not as tall as Meadhros. He had fair hair, and his eyes were a striking blue, clear enough to rival the fountains of Ulmo.
Caranthir was in stark opposite to his brother. His hair was dark as a Raven, he was pale and lithe, though not feminine. But his eyes.. his eyes held you captive, as he stared at you, almost angrily. They were the shade of a dark Winters morning, yet bright as cobalt .
Maedhros was the tallest, his figure was extremely masculine, his jawline was strong, and cheekbones high. His eyes were of mithril, his hair was brighter than fire, and yet shone almost gold in the bright light of the morning.
Telripion was there, you shot him a look that read "what took so long!?" He shrugged and left you with a wave and a grin. "TELRIPION DONT YOU DARE LEAVE ME NOW! COME BACK HERE IMMEDIATELY YOU EGG!" you yelled as he walked off, chuckling to himself. You groaned as you turned around, pinching the bridge of your nose. "Well, this was an intriguing introduction to be sure" said Celegorm, dead panning. "Indeed" you replied, sighing. "I am (y/n), Maia of Mandos, responsible for you three as of...." You trail off looking at the sun, "right now" you finish waiting for them to introduce themselves. "I am Caranthir, son of Feanor, and I care not about anyone so don't get attached". "I am Celegorm, son of Feanor, and since we are apparently giving out free trivia questions, I like dogs" he said, shooting his younger brother a look. Caranthir shrugged and looked away. You waited for Maedhros to say something, "and you?". "I believe you already know my name (y/n)" he said monotone, looking away. "That was stupid" you thought to yourself as you figured how to respond. "Now that's over with, come along, we are going...." You thought for a second about what to say,"Home".

When you guys FINALLY mad it back to the halls, and everyone was in their respective rooms, you went out, to go put moose back in his stall. You had just taken off his harness, and put the wagon away, when you started to feel overwhelmed. You were hurt, hurt at what Maedhros had said (although true you had been eavsdropping) and you felt incredibly incompetent.
groaning you sank to the stall floor. Curling up on yourself, your breathing rate picked up. Gripping your scalp, you began to hyperventilate. Your hands and feet felt cold, your chest hurt, and a crushing pressure in your head made you wish that it would just end. Your vision grew static, and it felt like you couldn't draw enough air into your lungs.
Interrupting your delirium, was something warm, soft and hard. You looked up to see Moose peering down at you, ears pricked forward. His big, expressive eyes stared, almost concerned.

You tried to steady your breathing, and slowly it came back down. As it slowed, you picked your self up carefully and leaning against the stall wall, you moved over to moose's back. Carefully you took hold of a piece of mane, and swung up onto moose's back. Cueing him to move laterally to the door, you undid the latch and urging him on, you took off out through the door and into the coastal flats surrounding the halls.
You felt your worry's melt away as you leaned down over his neck, urging him into a rythimic Canter. Moose seemed to fly across the Sandy grass as you raced down to the beach, striking the ocean, he slowed to a trot, and finally to a walk. Reveling in the salty air and cold water pooling around his legs in the hot summer heat. The sea water almost came up to your ankles, and seagulls cried above, as you threw your head back and gave a joyful shout.
You both came back to the stable late in the afternoon. Tired, but happy. As you groomed moose, gave him a light feed and some lukewarm water, and put him up in the stall for the night.
You hadn't any duties for the rest of the evening, as the sons of Feanor slept, and Mandos had seen to the others to give you a break. So you curled up in a chair by the fire in you Chambers, and slowly fell asleep, dreaming of the ocean.
