UA High School. Located in Musutafu, Japan, it has been home to some of the greatest heroes of all time. Some of it alumni include the number one hero, All Might, the number two hero, Endeavor, and the number four hero, Best Jeanist. The school seemed to produce greatness. Or it could be the inverse: greatness attracts UA.

Izuku Midoriya finished training with All Might on February 26th. After receiving the metaphorical torch, he rushed home to freshen up and pack his bag. In no time, he was on a forty-five minute train ride to the school.

The building was huge and definitely appeared to be expensive. That much was evident. The teen could feel excitement bubbling up inside of him. This was his big shot, his big chance, his big break to become what he had always dreamed of. A slight sense of worry began to settle in as he let himself think. The power he had received just hours before was new. He had no idea how it would work since the child hadn't tested it out. He was so lost in thought that he didn't notice the familiar blonde hair of his old "friend".

"Out of the way, Deku!" The green-haired teen flinched instinctively at the sound of the voice. "Move out of the way or you're dead."

"K-Kacchan," the shorter boy spoke up. He quickly stepped aside as to not provoke the ever-angry teen. "M-Morning. Let's both do our best." He eyed his childhood friend as he walked past. What he hadn't expected was for the blonde to stop.

"Let me offer you some free advice," the teen finally spoke up. For the sake of their past and to pay the green-haired teen for trying to save him, he wanted to do this. More specifically, to apologize in a way for telling him to go off himself by diving off the roof. "Talk less." His voice was roughy, but not harsh like it usually was. "Don't let them know what you're against or what you're for."

"Y-You can't be serious."

"You wanna get ahead in life, nerd?" He questioned, his voice raising. The smaller teen nodded. "Fools who run their mouths off wind up dead." And just like that, the blonde disappeared into the crowd.

A billion thoughts ran through his mind, trying to make sense of what had just occurred with his childhood friend. However, he decided not to dwell on it for too long. After all, he did have an exam today. 'Okay, Izuku. This is your first step to becoming a hero.' The boy began to walk but immediately tripped on the sidewalk. 'And this is where I die. I'm sorry, mom. I'm sorry, All Might.'

"Hey, you okay?" He snapped out of his thoughts and noticed that he was no longer falling. He was standing upright, a hand holding onto his book bag. He turned to see a girl he had never met before. She had medium length, wavy, dark hair and russian green eyes. "You almost broke your face there."

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine."

"Sorry about that. I just didn't want you to get hurt. You should be more careful." She smiled at him. "Good luck!"

"Y-You too." He watched as she disappeared into the crowd of students heading to the auditorium. The boy gulped as he walked through those doors and followed everyone else.

After the short explanation of how the exam would work, everyone was sent off to their testing locations. The sight of the location was daunting. It was an entire city ready to be used. It was extremely large and could be overwhelming.

Izuku looked around and noticed the girl from before, the one who saved him from embarrassment.

"There she is," he breathed out. "I should thank her." He slowly approached the girl who's hair was now tied up in a high pony tail. She wore a pair of sweatpants, a tank top, and wrist braces, which puzzled the boy. The girl hadn't worn those earlier so he figured it must be to help her with her quirk. "H-Hi." The girl looked up at him and smiled. "I wanted to th-thank you for saving my face back th-there." He stuck out his hand. "I'm I-Izuku Mi-Midoriya."
