A scream that made your blood run cold followed by the loud cracking sound of bones breaking. "We gave you a home, provided shelter and fed you." Lul furiously yelled, pushing the girl's head forward almost crashing it into the steel table.
Three people crowded inside of a basement that was dank and smelled of cigarettes. People must of sat here while they smoked themselves to death. The walls and ceilings had a yellow-tar sheen on them and the once cream carpet was dark grey and gritty with grime with dried dark red blood bleeding down the sides of the walls from past victims. The yells continued.
"Yet you almost killed us all. For what? Satisfaction? Money?" The boss continued roaring into her terrified face. Her second in command was sat opposite the girl tied up who was obviously tensed up, avoiding eye contact. "I didn't mean for this to happen.." the girl quietly stuttered, chattering her teeth in fear. "You almost got one of our own killed, you gave the blood crown away to our rival and returned to us like nothing ever happened. You know what's going to happen" Lul sneered out of despise. The girl perked her head up immediately and her breathing intensified. "No, No. You can't do that, I've helped you all!" She pleaded with her raspy voice and then directed her begs towards the woman opposite her."You know the rules here. You broke them, so you also have to accept our consequences." Lul massaged the girl's shoulders.
Panic set in for her, "KH, please. I haven't done anything wrong, I'm still useful to the mafia!." Lul glanced over at her best friend who's still not responding to the girl's cries and instead has her arms crossed, smiling under her breath." "KH, am I doing it or are you?" Putting a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Please i know where your mother is!" She suddenly yelled, making KH's expression change from coldness to fury in a spilt second. Lul just grinned knowing she didn't have to get her hands dirty this time around, because by the time she had blinked, KH had started strangling the girl with a steel chain, pulling her body vertically up. She started resisting and struggling but KH had snapped her neck too quickly and her body dropped to the ground. Looking at the body, KH's rage cooled down and she sighed. "I know that was hard for you. She's gone now" Lul reassured.
On the other side of the two way mirror, people had mixed reactions. There was a woman who was smiling intensely, grabbing ahold of surgical tools ready to take over. Another person was simply restraining and comforting someone who was wide eyed and wanting to run away, "That's what happens when you bring up her family" pointing at the dead body with no remorse. "Let me have the body first!!" The woman yelled into the room, "No I want to test some new fire techniques on them first" another girl stated. "If you have it first, they'll be nothing to burn then!" She whined.
"Are you ok Lyna?" Laura asked her friend who was shaken up seeing someone kill in front of her. "I just saw someone murder someone in front of me. Of course I'm not okay Laura" she scolded. "Look, it's not your fault that Luna snatched you, wrong place at the wrong time." She tried to reason. "And now I have to become a monster, like you guys." Lyna whispered under her breath, "We just do what's necessary." Laura frowned. "Can someone help me move this body!!" Aysu called out from the hall, as Lyna and Laura walked outside into the wide corridor they noticed Lul and KH. They seemed to be discussing something and were staring down Lyna.
"Do you think she's a good fit?" She heard Lul ask. "As far as I've been told." A few hours later, Lyna was playing in the phone Laura gave her, but her cellphone signal was blocked. She couldn't call for help, she was trapped. A quiet knock appeared at the door and creaked open, "Hi." Luna coldly greeted her, Lyna only replied with a nod to acknowledge her presence. "You're going to start training with KH in 15 minutes. I'd better be ready if I were you" she handed Lyna some clothes that seemed sporty, and handed her some protective pads then left. Lyna was confused, doubting KH could punch that hard so she didn't bring them with her. At first glance, KH sighed. "Where's your gear?" She panted, swiping the multiple droplets of sweat bubbling on her forehead and brushing the wet hair out of her eyes. "I thought you were joking." KH snickered,"Take mine this time." She threw them at her, and then they started training.
