Ivy and ferns grew through the crevices of the old winding stone path, which led directly to the colossal structure. The mansion loomed proudly behind creaky iron gates, flanked by rows of skeletal trees crowned in crimson, swaying gently to the chilly autumn wind. At its threshold stood the delicate marble fountain, the soft gurgling of the clear water melodic as it resonated in the surrounding silence.

Waiting for her at the front door was one of their gang members. "Did i miss anything TY". She was updated as they walked throughout the corridors, "Has Lul set a date for the rescue mission?", "Tomorrow night" Taeyong recited almost instantly, "She wants to talk to you in the morning before you go to work." He smiled. "Thanks TY, I need you or Doyoung to go on another killing spree tomorrow. You did good last time,wiped out the Cartel's stash house." As she handed a stack of cash to him, "It was you who made a clear path for us." They departed at a door as Taeyong said goodbye and she walked inside exhausted. 

"Had fun?" Luna asked making KH flinch, and instinctively pulling a knife out of her pocket and throwing it aimed at Luna. It barely missed her, "You've known me for 5 years and I've almost killed you more times than you've swore." They both chuckled as KH started pouring liquor into a glass.

 "So he asked you out for drinks huh?" She sipped on her glass every few seconds, "pretty much, he doesn't suspect anything." They clicked their glasses against eachother, "I thought it'd be harder to find exo. Thanks to you we have the inside eye" luna cheered after finishing speaking. "Yeah..I guess so.." KH awkwardly smiled before glancing at her drink, the whisky turns down the volume on her thoughts. It brought memories of good times past, and she let herself dwell in them rather than think.

"Do you think newbie will come along with us?" Luna asked whilst lighting a joint after ditching her glass of alcohol. "I presume so, Lul will want her working out in the field and the only way is for her to experience it herself. She's a quick learner so that's good." KH explained, joining her friend for a smoke before doing their final rounds and attempting to catch a few hours of sleep in.

That morning Lyna was the first awake and wanted breakfast so she went downstairs and navigated through the tunnels. Inside the kitchen,there were many people who she did not recognise and did not want to make eye contact, she grabbed some food and then walked around until she saw Laura sitting with Luna in the back corner. "Hey." She said as the tray was placed opposite them, "Morning. You ready for your first mission? It's a thrilling first too" laura hyped it up. "What's the mission?" Lyna asked having no idea. 

"You didn't listen during Lul's briefing?! Don't tell her or KH that you weren't listening, they'll scold you." Laura worried, "Well since nobody else has told you but the mission tonight is a rescue mission for the Blood Crown that is rightfully's part of KH's family. It's a crown filled with blood rubies and basically means whatever group has it is the best mafia. We lost it about a week ago when one of our own betrayed us to our rival gang, EXO. That's who you saw get killed yesterday" luna explained trying not to sound patronising. "Ooh.." was all lyna could spit out of her mouth.

"The crown means alot to KH and Lul. So we're taking it back tonight and some of our juniors will back us up." Laura interrupted and finished off. "Juniors?", "They work under us, different departments and they're part of the group too but aren't any of the tops." Luna took back the conversation. "I see." She said scanning them, "So what department am I in?", "You're the assassin. You kill people for us" luna stopped and said seriously.

To avoid the awkward silence, she heard heels clicking on the marble floor and looked up to see KH in formal wear walking towards their table, alot of people were greeting her. It wasn't until one male in particular joined her side and walked with her, "Laura can you check all my hidden wires and cameras before i go?". Laura nodded and excuses herself, not leaving her tray of food behind for anyone to steal from. "Lyna, this is doyoung. He's the other trainer for combat training and weapon speciality. He'll be training you for tonight because I have somewhere to be." She explained as he handed her her gloves. "Be ready and goodluck." She grinned before leaving.
