"She should be here by now." Jongdae gritted through his teeth, slowly placing his binoculars down onto his lap. "She'll be here." Junmyeon reassured, looking at his gang behind him. Stakeouts were about as exciting as sitting on a park bench for nine hours. In the movies they sit slumped over cold take out, but drama is never far away. Inevitable the target shows up, there's a chase and the plot moves on.
Real life stakeout is different. After a week of flicking radio stations you know every irritating quirk of every presenter and the popular songs feel like swallowing nails. The only thing the films ever get right is that if something is going to happen, it happens when you're taking a toilet break or being asked for directions. Every one of these men hated going on stakeouts, they couldn't handle the long hours sat in a single spot.
"Hey look someone's approaching us-" Baekhyun pointed out, clearly starting to panic. The 5 males busted out their handguns and rifles, and rushed to the female approaching the van. They startled her, she started quivering in fear as she reluctantly followed Junmyeon's instruction. She was wearing a red mask that had holes for her features, tearing the mask into two, a stranger's face appeared between them. "The fuck are you?" Chanyeol whined clearly puzzled and growing tired. "Oh my god-" was all she could stutter out,her hand shaking and pointing at Jongdae, as she recognized him from a news article. "They knew we were watching. Freaking bugs" Jongin snarled as he kicked a nearby car, denting the metal cover.
"Bugs?! Where? I hope they aren't wasps" baekhyun shrieked, jumping behind chanyeol who hid baekhyuns entire body behind him. "You idiot, computer bugs." Jongdae elbowed Baekhyun. Jongdae smirked as he walked up the woman, "You know my face, love.", the other guys turned their back as they didn't want to watch him kill a random person. He was about to swing at her until he had a last minute change of heart, a light bulb had lit up inside his head. "Chanyeol take her to the cells." Jongdae smirked as he watched fear fall upon her face in sync with the screams of help from her. Chanyeol had knocked her out with his baseball bat he kept inside the van, and dragged her body into the back. "Why did you stop? I was enjoying the sight of her cower." Jongin yelled his concern.
"She could be a lead to the whereabouts of her half sister and or the identity of the last member." Jongdae explained, keeping his eye on the road. Eventually, The group reported back to their HQ and immediately slumped onto any surface nearby after dumping the girl into a lone cell for later interrogation. "What's with you lot? You didn't catch her?" Asked kyungsoo emerging from the kitchen with snacks for everyone. "So you guys didn't bring a body, dead or alive, to play with?" Yixing's head popped round the doorway, holding surgical tools that were still dripping fresh blood onto the oak floors
"No someone bugged our audio and sent a decoy." Jongin gritted through his teeth, "You guys got bugged? You should have called me" sehun bragged whilst sipping on a McDonalds soda cup. "What do we have on these girls anyways?" Minseok asked kicking his feet up. Junmyeon frowned as he walked to a cabinet and pulled out a chunky file. "We know alot on most of them. One of them is a blank, can't find anything on her or him." He started stating.
"Start with the leader, she's interesting." Minseok smirked. "Shin Lauren, 28. Comes from a pretty wealthy family" Junmyeon's sentence was cut off by remarks from the group. "Bet we could have used her for ransom against her family." Grinned chanyeol. "Her family doesn't like her. She's the only daughter out of three brothers." Junmyeon continued, death eyeing chanyeol for interrupting him. "She's like me. Gets people out of trouble." He simply played around with his chess board whilst explaining. His focus on emphasizing certain words could make anyone quiver in fear. "Tell us more" the group chanted as they were intrigued about their rivals.
"Next, the newest member who hasn't been careful with her tracks so Jongin managed to come up with all this by himself. Park Lyna, 20, she Went missing 2 weeks ago and hasn't been heard from since." Sehun took over, shoving photos of her missing posters across the long oak table. "She's the supposed assassin.", he finished grinning. "She's quite stealthy. Avoids CCTV cameras when out and about working, and i can't seem to find any dirt on her" Sehun continued to explain. "Her parents disappeared around the same timeline." he trailed off into thought.
