The two walked inside, as they normally do pretending like nothing ever happened the night before, but something was clearly different. She walked straight to her desk, someone was sat in her seat though which suprised her. "Can I help you?" KH asked as her eyebrow arched, suspicious of the women. "You must be Lieutenant Hana." She suddenly stood up and formerly bowed to her, KH was still confused but as soon as KH saw her face, she recognised her instantly. "I'm detective Yeri. I transferred here to replace shin Mia." She looked to the empty desk where Mia's belongings were shoved into a box. "I hope you'll recover well" Yeri innocently smiled as she started picking up files from KH's desk.

"Those are confidential files, you can't look at them-" KH bluntly said. The chief finally emerged, "Oh Lieutenant, good to see you weren't injured badly, and that you've met detective Yeri." He smiled widely as he introduced her, "She'll be replacing you temporarily in the field as Jongin's partner." "What?!" Both Jongin and KH loudly shouted obviously shocked. "Why?? My doctor cleared me for any damage, I can still be out in the field." KH argued as she coldly said. "You're right however Detective Yeri wants to work with Lieutenant Jongin." The chief explained, "You'll be on desk duty from here onwards until all cases are cleared." Was all he said before leaving. Jongin ran after the chief trying to change his mind. "Me and Park work well together, our arrests add up to more than everyone else in the station."he exclaimed trying to not curse.

She stood there frozen, anger built up inside her; producing a white fist tucked away inside her pocket as the newbie walked past her with all her cases, purposely walking into her. Jongin was whisked away, he wanted to stay and comfort her but the chief forced him by ordering him via miming the words. Taeyang ran up to KH and greeted her, "Did you see the new detective? She's really pretty.", he swooned. "Nice to know Tae." She murmured. "How's your shoulder? Did mia really try kill you?" He asked whilst she collapsed in her seat, observing Jongin from afar.

"It's fine, and yes." She answered, keeping an eye out. Secretly taking a photo by clicking some buttons on her phone of Yeri who was pretending to not know how to use the printer,blushing at Jongin. "How did your date go?" He cutely asked, "It went fine." "No details? Did you guys kiss?!" She plainly answered his questions and just continued doing boring reports all day, watching as the detectives ran out once action called. She pulled out her phone and started texting Laura. "Pull any information on Nayeon and SJ's mafia members relating to her." She texted in a hurry.

Laura answered almost instantly, "Nothing came up. Why are you looking into that?" She texted back. "Meet me at the house on 22nd. Bring Yeji too, she's a rookie from my department. Just say my name" KH explained as she started packing up. Little did she know, Yeri was watching her pack up a few files and leave. KH had arrived last, greeting Laura and Yeji who were waiting for her in an open warehouse whilst waiting by a laptop. "Where is she?" Yeji asked impatiently. "Kid, get used to her being a bit late. She's busy" Laura smirked as she turned to view the garage door. Not a second later, the garage door was being opened and KH crawled under, running to them she greeted them.

"What do you need?" Yeji formerly asked. "We got a new detective at the station and I recognised her from the mafia party that was held a few months ago. She was Nayeon's right hand women." Laura gasped. "Yeri??", KH nodded slamming the photo she had taken on her phone onto the laptop's surface. "Be careful,this is a new model."laura babied the laptop. "She transferred to my district and I fear she's here to get Intel on me or to grab the microchip I stole out of Felix's dead body." KH elaborated as she wrote on a clear board with red marker. "I need you to pull any digital or physical evidence on her Laura and delete and hide any evidence of me ever being in a mafia.

"What do I do?"yeji asked as she sunk into the floor. "Distract her, I need time to hack this code." Kh ordered, Laura looked puzzled. "You hacking? Are you sure you don't want me to do that for you?" She suggested. "No, this code is referenced to police cases you wouldn't even dream about." KH shut her down. "I'll take ITZY out for a few simple crimes to catch her attention." Yeji smirked as she grabbed her firearm. KH sat by herself at home, with her laptop on her lap, attempting to crack the entry code to being able to access the relationship between Yeri and Nayeon. She needed proof to tie Yeri to illegal activity so she could get her job back. She kind of hated seeing Jongin with another woman.
