Ruby Shut the door and turned around to find Oscar standing there with the phone in his hand. She could tell he had gotten a call from the police station.

"Ruby, I'm so glad you're okay," He said.

"I'm fine and so is Marcy," Ruby replied, "I'm really sorry."

"Ruby, it's okay! You didn't do anything wrong," Oscar reassured her. He came forward and put his hand on her shoulder, "It was an unfortunate thing."

"You're right," Ruby replied, "I think I'm going to head to bed."

"Okay," Oscar could tell Ruby was tired from all the excitement. He watched as she went upstairs. Everyday, She and Oscar went to work until one morning. Ruby got up to use the shower as usual. After she was done she slipped into a black and red business dress. After she was done in the bathroom, Oscar came in and she went to the kitchen. She began making eggs and by the time she was done, Oscar had already gotten down stairs in time to set the table for two. Together they ate the table in silence and then went to the office. As Oscar dealt with business, Ruby filled out paperwork and worked on articles. In the middle of her fourth article, she got a call in her cubicle.

It was Oscar, "Can get the files for the national bank to my desk please?"

"Sure," Ruby replied. She got up from her desk and went to the room with all of the files and got the files for the Argas National Bank. She then went back to Oscar's Office. She could see through the window that it was a young couple with the lady expecting a child probably no more than five months pregnant. Ruby came in, "I found the file you wanted!"

"Oh good," Oscar motioned Ruby to come over and Ruby did so handing him the files. She stood next to him as he helped the couple with their case. After the appointment was done, the couple left and Ruby saw what file needed to be picked for his next appointment. When she came back she saw a blur of who was already in his office. She blindly went in and stopped dead in her tracks. It was the gang that had harassed her yesterday. The papers dropped to the floor and everything spilled out of the cardstock folder and onto the floor. One of them grabbed her fiercely and she froze as one of them put a weapon to her head.

"Where's our money, Pine," asked their leader.

"I don't have it right now," Oscar replied.

Their leader slammed him against his desk, "Aww, what do you mean? We made a deal, Pine. You were supposed to have it for us by last month."

"Ow-ah, The bank has it."

"Not the bank, you. Or would you like to watch us blow your assistance's brains out?"

"NO, I-"

"OSCAR, WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO?" Ruby yelled.

"Shut it, Red-," Their leader noticed Ruby in a flash of an eye. He let go of Oscar and walked up to Ruby with an evil grin. He took the gun from his henchmen who gripped Ruby's arm firmly and placed the gun on her forehead, "Well, well, well. Isn't the girl that called the cops on us yesterday! Why don't I just blow your brains out right now."

"Tell me what he did, before you do," Ruby replied.

"You're little boss, owes us 4000 linen after cheating us in a game of pool."

Ruby took out her wallet from her pocket and gave him 100 linen. It was all she had, "Let this be the start. Don't waste it. He'll have it next week, if not then I'll join you."

"What's this?" Their leader put the gun down, "A deal, I receive and hear?"

"Ruby, don't," Oscar mouthed as she looked at him.

Doug snatched the money from her hands and it caught her attention as she looked at him, "What a good little girl, right boys?"

They all nodded. Then they heard the police sirens. Quickly, Doug threw a gas bomb down on the floor as smoke went everywhere. He then shoots the latch of the window free and they left out of the window. Before Doug left he threatened, "If you let out we were here, you're both dead, whether i'm back there or not."

As Ruby, coughed she blinded nodded and let the smoke air out of the room. She and Oscar fanned the smoke out of the window as they held their noses. By the time the police got up to the office, Ruby was already sitting in a chair coughing really bad and the window was shut. Oscar told the police everything and dismissed the staff of the office early. He then took her back to his apartment. Her coughing had stopped by then.

"Ruby, what the heck," Oscar shook her, "That wasn't your business."

"Why didn't you tell me any of this," Ruby replied, "Borrowing money from a gang? Really? Where's Ozpin? What did he have to say about this?"

"After you went into the care assylum, Ozpin shut himself down. I can't talk to him or even get him to talk. It's just silence."

"And the money?"

"A gang leader's brother gave it to me to bail you out. All that time you and Yang talked over the phone, she told me about how she wanted you released when you were already better. We all went our separate ways as a team and me and your sister couldn't stand waiting anymore."

"So this was about me? Oscar, I appreciate it, but you both could have waited longer. I mean yes, getting out made me feel really special, but to loan money for it? Sorry to say this, but are you insane," Ruby asked. She immediately grabbed Oscar by the collar and yelled, "OZPIN, WAKE UP. WHAT"S THE MATTER WITH YOU."

"RUBY, CALM DOWN," Oscar yelled. He calmed himself too and hugged, "Ruby, I'm so sorry."

"I'm just really shocked at all of this," Ruby hugged him back, "For now, we're going to try and solve all of our problems, together."

"Now that you put yourself in this, we have to."

"True point."

They heard a knock on the door and Oscar let go of Ruby to open it. It was Marcy, "Are you two okay? I heard a little yelling on my way over."

"We're fine," Oscar replied.

"It was just about work today," Ruby said.

"Ah, okay," Marcy came in as Oscar opened the door, "Also, Ruby, I have awesome news! There's a meeting for the hunters board that I need to be there for and I was wondering if you'd like to come with me?"

"Isn't Claire going to go with you?"

"She has work."

"Why don't you go Ruby?" Oscar said.

"I'd love to, but what about the office?"

"Oh, I'll be fine there. I'll take care of the problem."

"Yes," Ruby said, "When do we leave?"

"We leave on a plane tomorrow! I'll be here around 5:30am."

"Then I better get packing," Ruby ran upstairs.

As soon as she shut the door behind her she grabbed her suitcase from the closet along with a few outfits. When she went back to shut her closet, she saw Crescent Rose sitting there in the dark. She smiled and grabbed it, putting it next to her suitcase. After she was done packing she went to bed.
