Misunderstood

Chapter 7

As I entered his living room I put on my "fake smile". I said hello the rest of his family.He told me that we could go watch a movie in the theater room while his mother made us hot chocolate.As we decided on which movie we wanted to see his mother came in to drop off our hot chocolate. I thanked her and she said that I was welcomed any time.

We stayed up for another hour or so just talking.It felt so good for once to have someone care about you and listen and not judge you.I pulled out the note smiled and stared at it. "What is that?" Cameron asked? " The note you gave me." I replied with a huge grin on my face. Then it hit me, how do I know if I can trust him.He can hurt me and humiliated me just like the others.

"I really appreciate every thing you have done for me but," I said before he cut me off and pulled me closer in his arms as he whispered in my ear "No one is going to hurt you ever again and I'm going to make sure of that.I promise my princess." I soon feel asleep to the faint smell go our steaming hot chocolate.

I woke up in the morning still in Cameron's arm.It was Saturday so we didn't have school. It was hard to get out of his grip but I finally did.I shook Cameron so he could wake up.Once he was awake we went to his kitchen so we could make breakfast. As I was getting the plates out someone had throwed dry pancake batter at my face.It was Cameron obviously,so I threw some batter back at him.

I tried to keep a serious look on my face but neither of us could hold it in anymore and we fell to the floor with laughter. We had laughed so hard that tears were coming from our eyes. "Wow I have never seen you smile so big.You know it looks good on you,you should smile more often." he said. "Thanks." I replied. I could feel my cheeks start to get red. "Hey I need to take you somewhere." Cameron said. "Yeah, sure where?" I said. "It's a secret just be ready in 15 minutes." he said as he walked me next door to my house.

I wasn't sure where he was taking me,but I had no where else to be so I guess I would go.When I was ready I just went outside on the porch and waithed for Cameron to come out.When he finally came out he made me put a blindfold on. "Ummm I can't see where I am going" I said. "Oh yeah sorry" he said and lead me to his car. I heard to car start and I guess we were driving for about 25 minutes.Then studdenly I could feel the car slowly come to a stop and he said "We are here!"
