Misunderstood

Chapter 16

"Shawn wake up!" I yelled as I was throwing pillows at him. "I'm up, I'm up." Shawn said. "Hey are you okay? I know you had a pretty ruff night last night? I heard you crying last night that's why I came in your room.I hope you didn't mind." He said as he greeted me with a hug. " No I didn't mind. Thanks. I know I did but I'll be fine." I said as I hugged him back.

"So what should we do today ?" Shawn asked. " You wanna go watch a movie?" I asked. " Yea! I'll pick you up here in about 45 minutes? " he said as he was putting back on his shirt. "Okay I'll be waiting." I responded. Once he left I ran to my room and started getting ready.(The picture above).

I heard a knock on my door and I knew it wasn't time for Shawn to pick me up so I didn't know who it was. Once I opened the door I realized that it was Cameron. After I opened door I went back to doing my hair and make up."I know you are going on a date with Shawn and I just came up here to tell you good luck and have fun." Cameron said as he stood their awkwardly putting his hands in his pockets.

I knew Cameron didn't mean a word he was saying. I know he is just trying to be supportive, which I appreicate. "Thank you Cameron,but it's not a date. We are just going to watch a movie." I said as I was putting my shoes on. I could tell he was nervous,but once I told him that he seemed to relax.

"Oh okay,well you look goregous by the way." he said. The memory of me and Cameron at the store when he told he that I looked goregous came back. I could feel as my eyes starting to get watery and a small tear that dropped down my face, but soon wiped away. "Thanks, well I got to go Shawn will be here soon." I said as Cameron followed me to the porch.

When Shawn finally came Cameron walked me to his car. As soon as we reached the corner of the street, in one of the mirrors I could see Cameron siting on my porch crying into his hands. I felt truely bad for Cameron I know he never meant for any of this to happen the way it did. But if I just forgive him that easliy he would think that it's okay to hurt me and cheat on me.

Shawn spoke as he interupted my thoughts. "Why was Cameron there. He didn't hurt you right?" Shawn said as he gave me a concerning look. "No he didn't. Suprisingly he just wanted to tell me to have fun with you today." I said. "Oh okay good. Well we are here!" Shawn said as he parked the car.

Shawn payed for our tickets, while I got some snacks for us. We took our seats and ate our poppcorn. During the movie Shawn pulled his hand over my shoulder which I scooter closer to him. "Jasmine what are you doing?" Shawn said as he was laughing. "What?" I said. "I just wanted the soda across from you ." Shawn said seriously. "Oh here you go." I said passing the soda to him.

"I'm just messing with you. Come here." Shawn said as he pulled me under his arms. After the movie Shawn took me home. "Jasmine I had a great time with you. We should hangout more." Shawn said as he gave me a hug and kissed my cheek. "You smell good by the way. Oops did I say that out loud?" I blurted out. "Jasmine you are too cute." Shawn said as he went back into his car and drove away. I didn't realize Cameron was there the whole time until he said, "Jasmine we need to talk."
