October 24th, Beacon Academy, Remnant, 2287 - Day 7
Yukon POV:
Ozpin had made a bigger staircase for Bullet to go down, so it was easier to travel on the cliffside. As I made it down to the ground, I heard what sounded like a spring-loaded trap up above. I turned to the noise and see students flying over the cliffside and into the forest.
Is that the way he wants to send them off? That'll kill them!
I kick my stirrups and Bullet takes off towards the falling group of students at a fast pace. As I'm riding I encounter some beowolves, so I use Last Word and blast the beasts' heads off without stopping.
After fighting and killing a few more stray wolves, I make it to a clearing and see the majority of the students fighting off a giant scorpion. One redhead in particular dressed in spartan clothing is the closest to it, and she has a spear and shield as weapons to defend herself. But I don't think that's enough to go toe to toe with the scorpion aiming its telson and pincers at her. I think I might need to step in, since she's just staring at it. I take aim at the stinger with my shotgun and fire directly into it, making it explode on impact. The spartan turns to me, wide eyed. I lower my shotgun and look at her.

Yukon: "This is no time to be fearful. Stay focused, and maybe you won't die today."
Spartan: "Wait, I-"
Yukon: "Like I said, now ain't the time. You can talk after it's safe. So I reckon you make haste now."
And with that, I ride on towards the temple.
I didn't get far though, the spartan girl caught up with me. Even Bullet was surprised that a girl could keep up with him, but he's just an arrogant prick if you ask me.
Spartan: "Just hold on a moment!"
I slow down for a moment to address her again.
Yukon: "What part of 'We can talk after it's safe' don't you understand?"
Spartan: "I just want to talk! Why are you leaving so fast?"
Yukon: "To get a relic, just like y'all are. Anything else I can do for you, partner?"
Spartan: "...Let me come with you."
Yukon: "Pardon?"
Spartan: "Let me follow you to the relics. I don't want to blindly guess where the temple is when I can follow someone who knows where it is."
