The sound of the machines are deafening. Hayley shifted from the couch, it was her night off from work and although she is basically working her ass of by the day, she never fails to come over to watch over her daughter. Being a chairwoman of a multi-million dollars worth company, she had no time for herself but she still manages to make time for her daughter.

She looked over at her daughter who is sleeping so soundly. So much that she wanted to be selfish and just wake her up. She misses her voice. How she'd smile at her after a long, rough day at work. How she manages to make her day light even with the pile of works and meetings she had to attend. She misses the bond, the laughter, their silly jokes. She misses her daughter.

Sometimes her ex-husband would come and visit but that's just mainly for Hope. Her and Klaus's relationship was long over and everyone have learned to accept that. They don't live together anymore, in fact before Hope reach this vegetative state she has come to accept the fact that both her parents are already happy meeting someone new and she's happy for them.

Hayley with Klaus's brother, Elijah whilst Klaus is with he girl she's met over an art convention years ago, Camille. Sometimes the couple comes over and it isn't awkward anymore whenever the four would meet here in this very room to visit a big part of their lives.

The woman once again closed her eyes in her attempt to go to sleep because tomorrow is another long day and although she practically owns the company, she still doesn't want to be lazying around. Besides, it keeps her mind off of things and after numerous attempts, Hayley finally did drift off to sleep.

"Lizzie! Where are you going? Party's going to be fun at Landon's, you should totally come." Josie pleaded for how many times today already.
"Rain check? I'll be busy tonight, besides I need to be home because Mom is coming home from her trip to England." Lizzie says while placing her things that once occupied her desk into her bag pack and then sling it over to her shoulder after she's done while holding a few books for her to drop off over at her locker.
"You weren't there last time too! Come on, the circle is missing you."
"You just miss me because nobody's ever planned the best party without me." chuckling, Lizzie made her way to the door while Josie followed after her.
"That's partially true. But the other fact is that you're alway taking those stupid rain checks, if I'd give you a receipt for each and every time you take them, your drawer would be flooding with them."
"That you should have done. Too late, I'm already halfway near the lockers and the parking's just across the lot. You enjoy your night with Landon, I'm sure you'll enjoy still without me. And next time, I'll try to go." Lizzie said before they reached the lockers. The blonde opening her and then shoving her books inside.
"Ugh, fine! Next time, alright?" asks Josie and her cousin just smiled.
"I said I'll try!" Lizzie said while laughing and then headed for her car.

The blonde hopped inside her red Audi A5 Cabriolet before starting the engine and then off she go. It is true that her mother, Caroline will be back from her trip to England but they've already sort things out that they'll be bonding tomorrow because today, Lizzie has somewhere she wants to be.

The drive towards her destination is silent and she didn't bother playing any music because it will only distract her, just her thoughts alone are messy enough. It was around six in the evening when she arrived at the place. She parked her car swiftly before locking in and headed inside.

The people that recognized her had smiled her way while she returned the gesture back and then headed straight to the elevator, pressed the number thirty two and waited until she's arrived at her desired floor, where the VIP Suite is located and just in time before she reached the room, someone from stepped outside and she immediately noticed who it was.

The girl looked at her and smiled in an instant. "It's Friday night, you should be resting." Hayley pointed out and Lizzie smiled.
"I'm staying the night here, and Mom will be paying a visit soon."
"She's back already?"
"You bet." Lizzie chuckled. "You really should face time her, come on. You are working like crazy and the only time you get to rest is when you're here. Go get the night off, I'll be staying here anyway. I'll text Mom and tell her to drag you away."
"Are you trying to get rid of me? Young lady, you are talking to a grown up." Hayley exclaimed.
"So live like one. It's not so bad getting one night off. I won't leave, I promise." Lizzie said and as if on cue, someone arrived, some blonde and upon seeing the person, Hayley shot Lizzie a look. "Oops. I might have called her beforehand. And for the record, I did say soon."
"And don't blame the kid, she's got a point! Stefan came with me, let's invite Elijah. We're gonna have the night of our lives." Caroline with her convincing tone, finally made the other woman nod.
"Fine. I'll call Elijah to let him know where we'll be." she said before looking at the younger blonde, "You sure you'll spend the night here?"
"Solid. Now off you go, you two. Can you even imagine the irony of a teenage girl telling you grown ups to go have fun? Geez." she remarked, making Hayley scoff and Caroline laugh before she went inside, not saying anything further.
