It had been more then two weeks since Hope had woken up and ever since she got discharged, Lizzie stayed with her and she's almost living at Hope's house.

Hope found it nice that someone is willing to spend time with her but as of the moment, she is studying so that she can take the advancement exams and get on the closest she could to Lizzie's.

She was eighteen when she got into the accident, Lizzie is  and Josie are twenty one so if she is going to be approved for the advancement and actually pass, she has a high chance of getting into the same year and class as Lizzie.

She's afraid to go though. Yes, she's smart. Yes, she's brilliant. Everybody knows how intelligent she is specially being Klaus's daughter, nobody could ever hide that fact. But she's afraid to go.

She is hesitant that's why she's taking her reviews easy and Hayley is not rushing her. School had just started so it makes no sense to rush your daughter who just woke up from a five year long coma into taking an advancement exam just so she could squeeze in, or fit in. Whatever.

Hope stood up from her bed and looked for whatever to wear. She noticed that most clothes are not the ones she had from years ago and these clothes are the kind that she would wear so she wondered if Hayley is the one who brought them or her father Klaus which is by the way arriving in two days so she thought of something.

Going back to her bed, she picked up her phone and dialed a number. It took a ring and half before the person answered.

"My god, you are so clingy!"
"You're kinda stuck with me. And yes, I am complaining."

Hope heard Lizzie's scoff from the other line.

"You are such a—"
"God, I even missing fighting with you now." Hope chuckled and that shut Lizzie up. Little did she know that her words are making the blonde from the other line smile. "Are you free? I still need to revalidate my license and I'm still working on letting Mom let me drive the new car that I saw at the garage."
"Don't tell me that you need a driver because I will seriously not go to you."

Hope's laughter boomed.

"Fine. This is better, I need a fashion expert! I'm buying clothes."
"What— are the clothes that me and Hayley picked not enough?"
"You and Mom picked them?"

What a surprise. She never knew that Lizzie and Hayley have gotten this close while she was asleep. Making her really thankful of Lizzie for being the daughter during the time that she was there technically yet away.

"Yes. But what made you decide to buy clothes?" asked Lizzie while Hope smiled.
"Airport fashion darling. I need to pick Dad up but it is kind of a surprise, you know I begged Mom not to tell him about me."
"Oh. Yeah right. Alright, I'll be there in 10. Get ready or I'll have you walking after my car."
"Cranky! But fine, it's a date Eliz—" Hope heard Lizzie groan from the other line, making her laugh. "Fine. Lizzie. I called you Lizzie."

And then she ended the call after a few more playful banters.

Hope did ready herself and after changing her clothes, she went outside just in time because Lizzie is already pulling over their drive way where Hope waited so that when the car stopped, Hope hopped in.

"Those looks good on you." Lizzie commented before driving away once again.
"Are you saying that because it actually looks good or because you chose the clothes?"
"Both." the blonde answered with humor, making Hope laugh.

Hope started playing a song which isn't loud, just good for the ears while Lizzie tries catching a glimpse of her around the corner of her eyes from time to time.
