I have to hold back the scream of glee! The water pulsing against my scales is divine.

I can't believe Tahoi actually agreed. I was only halfway joking when I suggested we leave.

I watch his handsome dragon navigate through the water. His dark blue scales make it slightly difficult to see him since he blends in so well.

We have been swimming for almost an hour so I figure we must be getting close. As if on cue, I see his body begin to slow down as I notice the water starts getting more shallow. We made it without any of those Swimmers catching sight of us. Even I know we are pushing our luck, but I can't seem to care at this point in time.

We come to a complete stop and just hover next to each other. He raises his head slightly above the water and I do the same. With his eyes, he looks over to an isolated beach. I nod.

Together, we slowly swim towards the deserted area.

I stay in the shallows as Tahoi slowly starts to leave the water, his claws making soft noises as they crunch against the sand.

Once he is completely on land, he looks around before he turns. As his human form appears, fully clothed, he brushes off an imaginary piece of dust from his shoulder jacket. Waving his arms, he motions me over.

I quietly lift my large body out of the water and make my way towards him. I grimace as I feel sand sticking to my scales. Once I'm completely out of the water, I turn and quickly take off my heels so they don't get ruined by the sand. Tahoi helps me gather my dress as we make our way towards civilization.

After venturing north fifteen minutes along the beach, we come to a wooden bridge. Curious, we walk up to it and notice that it has many pathways that all lead towards what I can only guess is a fancy hotel.

"Do you know where we are?" I whisper to Tahoi, as we close the distance to the entrance of the gigantic building. Against the sun, the building shone like a giant disco ball, reflecting light all around us. It was stunning.

"Not exactly..." He smirks, "But have you ever heard of gambling?"

My eyes widen. "Only in concept."

"Well, my girl, you are about to learn!" he laughs as he takes my hand and pulls me along. "The trick of getting in is to just act casual. I'll do the rest," he instructs and he holds the door open for me.

I just nod and follow him inside.

After a few twists and turns down long hallways, I see an open entrance to what seems to be a huge hall filled with people, green tables of some sort, and loud machines.

"ID's please," the lady at the front requests.

Damn! I left my ID at-

I gape at Tahoi. He pulls out both of our Reserve IDs and smoothly hands it to the lady. She looks it over for what seems to be a very long time. I try to stand still, but end up fidgeting. Tahoi squeezes my hand in reassurance, his eyes never leaving the lady.

"Huh, I've never seen IDs like this before," she mumbles to herself before shrugging and handing them back. "Alright kids, go on and have fun!"

She moves the pole that was blocking the entrance and we start to make our way inside.

"Oh, wait!" She calls out. We both freeze and turn back around.

She thrusts a shiny silver card into my hands, "I saw it's your birthday, dear! We give our guests a free twenty-dollar pre-paid card that can only be used in our casino. Spend it wisely!"
