"Maddie........You can.........Stop........Hugging!" I gasped. Maddie was squeezing the air out of me, after I'd told her about the phone call.
Maddie let go. "Heh. Sorry." She blushed. Thorn snorted.
"What was that for?" I asked Thorn.
"Dunno. I just felt like snorting." Thorn answered stubbornly.
I sighed. "Thorn, can you fly us to the mountain I found your egg on?"
"Oh, sure!" She said sarcasticlly. "It's not like I know the way or anything."
"I'll steer, you derp." Never call a dragon a derp. Thorn whacked me in the head with her tail, and it hurt. Maddie still held onto me, but lighter this time. Thorn lifted into the air, and I steered her towards the mountain.
