I walked in !y house and saw Johnny and Pony cuddling on the couch.

I walked out seeing Dar making dinner and Pony, Johnny, Steve, Dally, and Two-Bit watching Mickey Mouse. Where the hell did they come from?
"Dinner!" Dar shouted.
We all sat down to dinner: baked chicken and peas with rice.
Half way in to dinner, Two said aloud: "Nice marks you got there Soda."
"Wow...well, you can thank Steve for that.
" Haha! RIght....my ass is sore still you know? " he recalled
"Oh shut up!" I growled.
*Ponyboys POV*
Well that escalated quickly.
Damn...
Then Darry mentioned something I hoped he would forget: my birthday.
You see....Mom and Dad passed 6 months ago and I still haven't gotten over it.
"So Pony...what do you wanna do for your birthday in a week?" he asked so casually.
" I don't really want to have a party or do anything for my birthday really. " I said.
"Why not man? It's ya 15th" Dal said.
"Just...nothing...." I said.
I had barely eaten and wanted to be left alone.
"I'm full...I'm gonna go finish some h-homework." I said.
" but Pones we dont even have any homework-" Johnny said.
"Y-yeah we do..." I interrupted and walked away.
* Sodas POV*
"What's going on with him?" Darry asked.
" I know. Why doesn't he wanna do- oh... " I trailed off.
"What?" Dar asked.
" He doesn't wanna do stuff because....they aren't here....not this year... " I said quietly.
The others immediately understood.
Our parents death hit us hard but it hit Ponyboy the hardest.
Dar and I got up and went upstairs.
We quietly heard him sobbing.
"Hey Pony...can we come in honey?" I asked.
"Sure." Pony replied quietly.
We walked in a th he was sobbing on his bed.
"Hey baby we're sorry..We didn't realize." Dar said.
" it's ok...I really don't want to do anything for my birthday..We can do presents still and cake I guess... " he trailed off.
"Ok honey...We sure can. Whatever you like." I said.
