Epilogue

Verloc was in Morris' lap as they sat on the massive concrete block outside the lap. The scientist looked up at Morris and gave a small smile. The scientist had stepped down due to needing recovery time. Harry Haworth took over the labs once more. He was mad with Verloc but did forgive him for it all. Verloc would occassionally slur his words and if course, drooled nonstop. Morris kissed him on the head and Verloc reached up and ran his hands through the constable's hair since his helmet was off. "I llloooove youuu." Verloc slurred out with a smile. "And i love you even more, my sweet Ver." Morris cooed at him.

The couple had gotten a home together in the parade. Away from the labs and the constabulary. It also was closer to the hospital, which was good for Verloc. Though he tended to bite. Morris was giddy that his lover was strong. He nuzzled him and noticed him trying to stand. "Need my arm?" Morris offered as Verloc slowly stood. "Nnnot yet." Verloc said as he got to his feet, using the slab for support. Morris pulled off his mask and gave a genuine smile. Verloc was too focused to notice at the moment. The scientist even had his tongue out from the focus.  "You've come so far on this journey." Morris said softly as Verloc's face lit up from standing. "Holy shhhit!" He said in excitement before looking at the bobby. Morris still held his mask in his hand but set it down to clap his hands together. "Morris...?" Verloc stared at the bobby and reached out to touch his face, nearly falling over from loosing balance. Morris held his arm and Verloc grabbed at it with one hand as he felt his lovers bare face with his other. "You are beautiful." Verloc said in awe as he touched his lovers face. The scientist had never worn a mask. But by law. Everyone else had to. But this time....it was a special occassion.

Morris stood up slowly, helping Verloc balance. Morris entwined his lovers fingers into his own and smiled at him. "My dearest, Anton. How I love you so much. You've made such an impact on me. You're an amazing man. And I'm so honored to be with you." Morris said as Verloc teared up, tears dripping down his cheeks. Morris pulled him into a passionate kiss. Verloc let go of his hands and wrapped his arms around his constables shoulders. Morris wrapped his arms around his lover's hips. They broke the kiss with a small strand of saliva. Both noticed and burst into laughter over it. "Oh my god...that's line a bad romance movie i swear." Verloc joked as they kept their passionate embrace. "Its perfect. And it comes from the most perfect man." Morris said with a smile. "I swear you're trig to make me cry at this rate!" Verloc playfully huffed out before they nuzzled noses and pressed foreheads. They gazed into each others eyes and just embraced. "My sweet constable. My Morris. You've done so much for me. You saved my life and I can't thhhank you enough." Verloc said as he smiled with tears brimming in his eyes. "I care about you more then anything else, Anton. I could never live without you. You're the world to me. You're my joy. My everything. And i love you with my heart and soul." Morris gently entwined his fingers with Verloc once more. They both looked down at their hands then gazed into each others eyes. "You are an amazing man, morris. Thank you so much for everything." Verloc said, once more getting emotional. His voice cracked from holding back a flood of tears.

Morris hugged his lover close as he burst into loud tears. "I love you, Anton. I love you so very very much." He said as he nuzzled his lover as they kept a warm embrace together. The sun setting behind them. The soft orange glow upon their bodies. As if they were entwined divines. "My dearest Anton. I will always protect you." Morris said as Verloc looked up while sniffling. Both looked out at the sunset and watched the sky change colors. "Its almost as beautiful as you." Verloc said as he admired the sun going down slowly. "I think you're the only one to see me maskless. Its illegal but who cares. Love trumps all." Morris cooed as Verloc nuzzled into his chest. "Our fingers will always be entwined. Through dawn and dusk. My sweet, Anton."

(761 words! Typed this on a whim. Woot! Who knows what's next. Maybe ill do a bonus on this story if i think of an idea. Story is dedicated to EccentricMethod my best friend. And i still laugh at the fact this story is what started our friendship xD but enjoy this sweet epilogue of cute. I did it in one quick go so I'm sorry if its not exactly the best.... Though i needed to type out some gooey romance. So here we are! Almost a year later xD)
