Chapter 19

Verloc had been making significant progress since Thomas offered to help. The duo were in a private garden outside the lab. The smaller man was currently slowly walking with the help of the doctor. He would let out squeaks of gibberish as he did so. Thomas chuckled and watched the man let out happy sounds. "If this keeps up, you might be able to walk on your own." Thomas said with a smile. "Rrr...eaa...lllyyy...?" Verloc asked with wide eyes. "Really." Thomas stated. "But we need to make sure you are stable enough for it." Thomas helped Verloc sit back into the wheelchair. "I ammmm." Verloc whined out, though it sounded like a slur of words. "I know, but we need to make absolutely certain. We don't want to undo all the progress you know." Thomas commented as he wiped a bit of drool from Verlocs chin.

Morris had gotten incredibly nervous as of late. He was worried about Verloc. Thomas had insisted the bobby stay behind. The poor constable was barely sleeping from the stress. This had been remedied with Thomas giving the bobby sleeping pills or sedation that knocked him out. The doctor knew morris cared, but he was concerned. The bobby was currently asleep in his bed as the duo made progress together. He was hugging a pillow and snoring softly.

Thomas started to wheel Verloc back inside. Verloc was a bit pouty but did understand. "Let's go get some food then we can work again." Thomas said with a smile as they got into the elevator. Verloc turned to look at him and smiled to the doctor. Thomas pressed the button and they waited. "Later on, I'll get Morris and we can all go out. Though it might rain today. So if it does rain, we can all go somewhere in the lab and focus on making progress." He cooed to verloc as he pushed him through the now open doors.

Morris woke up and immediately bolted to the bathroom to throw up. The bobby was suffering withdrawl and heavy stress. He cleaned himself up and flushed the toilet. "Fuck me...I can't even relax...." He brushed his teeth to get rid of the horrid vomit taste. "I'm gonna go out and see him." The bobby got changed into his usual uniform. He made the bed as to not leave it a mess. Morris began to button his coat up and heard the door open. He blinked and headed out of the bedroom, still barefoot. "Anton!!" He rushed over and gently hugged his lover. Verloc purred and kissed him over and over on his face. "I...lllo...vvveee.....yooo.......uuu!!!" Verloc slurred out as they nuzzled noses.

Morris helped his boyfriend to sit down. They sat happily together at the dining table. Thomas set down the bag of food he had got from the dining hall and began to set things on plates. "I'm glad to see you slept nice. At least I hope you did, Morris." Thomas said in a gentle voice. The bobby had managed to only put on his coat. Morris still had his pj pants on and was barefoot. "It wasnt the greatest sleep, but I'm happy you both came." He nuzzled noses with Verloc. The smaller of the two let out a coo and kissed his lover. Of course there was plenty of drool in the kiss. Verloc unintentionally gives sloppy kisses after all.

The three ate with a bit of conversation. Thomas silently gushed at the lovebirds being affectionate. Verloc was still banned from silverware. So the constable was spoon feeding him stew. "You both are adorable together." Thomas said before taking a bite of his sandwich. "I don't care what anyone says. You two are so precious together." He said with a mouthful of food. Morris gave a sheepish smile and Verloc pulled him into a passionate kiss. The doctor loved to see the couple together. "Ll...oooo...veee!" Verloc pointed to Thomas. "Me?" Thomas said in surprise. "Well you are the biggest help to us after all." Morris said happily. "Not many doctors deal with lobotomy. So im extremely glad I can be useful." He smiled at them kindly. "Tha....nkkk...yo...u." Verloc stumbled out and the couple smiled at him.
