6 months later

Bambina stared at herself in the mirror, so much had changed since the day she left Marcello all those months ago. A few months previous, she had been officially declared as the Donna of Dead Royals, the most powerful gang in America, the untouchable gang.

Bambina wore a loose peach coloured dress, her long brown hair in two braids on both sides of her face. Her face was clean of makeup as her brown eyes trailed to the large bump on her belly.

Smiling lovingly at it, she rubbed it and left the room.

In the short 6 months that she had been with her parents, she had managed to win over every single member of the family, they were now not only willing to die for her because she was their Donna, but because they trusted her and she had earnt their undying loyalty.

Sitting in her office, she sat on the simple, swivel chair, with a paired table. The furniture was and looked cheap, the walls barren and painted a pretty off white.

There was nothing majestic or expensive in the room, it was simple and bare, with a minifridge up against the wall being the only other piece of furniture.

Sitting back in the chair, Bambina brought out the gun from the holster on her thigh. It was the gun Marcello had gifted her, she couldn't bring herself to get rid of it.

She traced the intricate designs before being interrupted by a knock on her door.

"Enter," she placed the gun on the table, lifting her head.

"Donna," the man that walked in bowed his head in respect.

"Andre, what do you have for me?" She smiled brightly, Andre returning her smile as he walked towards her desk.

"The Don of the Marsalis Mafia wants to declare war, " Andre had blue eyes and red hair, his pale skin making him resemble a ghost.

"Why?" Bambina forced herself to remain unaffected.

"He believes that you have sent men to disrupt with their dealings, he wants to meet the Don to have a 'friendly discussion'." Andre lifted his hands, fingers making a quote gesture.

"Make a meeting with him at our meeting house sometime this week, and end Ryan and Charly," Bambina replied, "Bring them both here at 12 to discuss the plan."

Charly was Bambina's close friend, and she would be considered a sister. Bambina and Charly looked quite similar, but Charly was taller and thinner - especially considering Bambina's large belly.

Nodding obediently, Andre left the room, leaving Bambina alone.

"What should I do?" Bambina looked down at her ever-growing belly, smiling tenderly as she rubbed it.

Bambina stood, placing the gun back in its holster and left her office, going down to the kitchens to find some food.

"Donna," one of the maids smiled at her and began to make Bambina some food.

Without a second thought, Bambina pulled out her gun and shot one of the maid's stomach, no one flinched or questioned her.

Stepping forward, Bambina walked towards the squirming body of the girl.

"I don't believe I recognise you," Bambina spoke calmly, raising a brow as two muscular men rushed to her side and picked up the maid.

"Donna, I don't understand," the girl whimpered, trying to clutch her wound, but being unable to as her forearms were being held tightly.

That was the second give away, no member of the family questioned Bambina's choices anymore.

"Take her to the cells." The men complied, dragging a crying girl with them.

"Donna," another maid made Bamina's sandwich and Bambina smiled gratefully at her, thanking her.

It was an avocado tuna sandwich, an odd combination that Bambina often found herself craving nowadays.

She walked back to her office leisurely, not exactly worrying that it was past 12 now.

Upon arriving at her office, she found Charly and Ryan already there, "Sorry for making you wait," she grinned at the two, taking her seat behind the desk.

The two were left standing due to the lack of other furniture in the room.

"Sometime this week, the Marsalis Mafia Don will be visiting our Meeting House, where he wants to meet the Dead Royals' Don." She took a big bite of her sandwich and chewed before swallowing, "Charly, you will lead the Don to Ryan, who will act as our Don. See what he wants." Finishing her sandwich, she clapped her hands together and smiled brightly.

"So I am to act as I am the Don?" Ryan questioned as he scratched the back of his head.

"Yes Ryan," she gave him a look of slight annoyance and he bowed his head, "that's all I called you here for, be ready for any time throughout the week." They nodded and soon left the room, leaving Bambina, once again, alone.
