An unfamiliar car parked right infront of the front yard. A man in a suit came out from the front door then, approached Gulf who was standing still with his shocked face.
"Are you Mr Kanawut?", the man asked him.
"Uh yes.. I am Kanawut". Gulf looked at him with a curious eyes.
The man was holding a black boxed bag. He didn't seem suspicious for Gulf. At least that was what a naive 19 years old boy thought. Gulf pointed at the bag held by the stranger, "What inside the bag?. And what do you need mister?".
The man chuckled. "Kid, didn't your mom taught you not to talk to a stranger? Heih.. you really need a bodyguard to take care of you".
"Look here kid, your dad, Mr. Kanawut hired a bodyguard from my company. He's now inside the car", the man pointed to the unfamiliar car parked behind him. Gulf peeked at the corner of his eyes to see the man — a.k.a. his newly hired bodyguard inside the car.
The so called his bodyguard was sitting at the back of the car. He was looking at his phone, so he didn't realise there was a pair of eyes, eyeing at him. Intimidating. That was Gulf's first impression on the bodyguard.
"Sign this agreement and we will proceed with some rules and regulations. Then, the bodyguard is fully at your service, kid".
Gulf shaped his mouth to an O and nodded.

After the man left, Gulf closed the main door and lead the new bodyguard to his room — located in a separate building from the main building, connected by a connection bridge between the two building.
Both of them kept their mouth shut during the walk along the bridge. The new bodyguard began flinching as he walks, due to the tense and awkward atmosphere between them. His eyes looked at Gulf from up, down to his toes. "Shorty...", the bodyguard thought to himself.
"Uhh...".
The bodyguard immediately shifted his eyes when he heard Gulf humming, in order not to get caught by Gulf that he was previously scanning Gulf.
".. this is your new room. Used to be our previous maid's room.". Gulf opened the door to a cozy and small bedroom, fully equipped with an air conditioning to fight off the heat during summer time.
As the bodyguard wanted to enter the room, he was stopped by Gulf's next question.
"Gosh... this brat really can't shut up huh?", Mew snorted only enough for him and his mind to hear.
"What's your name? I just can't call you "hey" all the time right?".
"Name is Mew".
"Oh.. I'm Gulf. Gulf Kanawut".
Mew walked passed Gulf and whispered into his ear, "I know... that's why I took this job".
Gulf covered his red ears and stiffen before he turned around and nagged the newly hired bodyguard. He talked about the rules and boundary between the bodyguard and him. Mew pretended as he was listening just for the sake to satisfied his young boss— or should he call the little kid, master instead?. He smirked alone.
"Hey kid.. what should I call you?".
"Just Gulf is enough. But around my dad please talk to me formally."
"Why?"
Gulf raised his shoulder up, "dad will be angry later" and shook his head a few times.
"Rich people.. can't really understand them huh..", Mew mumbled.
