Healing Together

Part 1

So that was it. For the first time in his life Kirishima was going to move. UA was big so no one was really surprised when they found out they had a dorm attached to the school. It was a weird feeling though, moving away from your parents to go live with your classmates and teachers.
But he understood. After everything  that has happened. After Bakugo was taken away from them... from him. After they got him back. He still felt unsettled when he thought about it. After all it hadn't been long ever since. He could still remember his fear, the adrenaline and the relief. He could also remember the feeling of Bakugo's hand in his. When they had saved him. He looked down at his hand. It looked the same as ever but he didn't feel the same ever since. He was so afraid when Bakugo was taken. Not because he was a possible target as well, but because Bakugo was gone and he couldn't do anything about it. Well except he could and he did but he had been afraid all the way. Afraid that something had happened to Bakugo. Afraid that they might be too late. But they weren't. The unsettling feeling stood with him though. He had nightmares ever since but he hasn't told anyone about it. The last days had been terrible enough he didn't want to burden anyone with his personal problems. He hoped that sleep would come easier when he would live here where it was safe. Although it was hard saying goodbye to his parents and his home. But here he was now. Standing in front of the UA dorms and looking at the building.
"Man, this is huge", Kaminari clapped him on his shoulder "I'm so excited to live here".  
"Right?", Kirishima grinned over his whole face "this is gonna be so amazing".
"I am excited as well", Sero appeared next to them smiling his usual triangle smile.
"Whatever you shitty idiots get a move on or do you want to live outside?", Bakugo passed them and walked ahead, the other three following immediatly.
Kirishima hoped that he would be on a floor with Kaminari as he was his best friend. Also because he had nightmares ever since Bakugo was kidnapped and sometimes woke up screaming but Kaminari was a tight sleeper so he wouldn't bother. Actually he hoped for the nightmares to go away once they were living at UA where he was safe. And everyone else too.
They made their way inside the building that they would live in from now on. It was really huge and really nice. They put a lot of effort in it so the students could feel at home as best as possible. Aizawa and Midnight joined the group of students to get them to their respective rooms. The girls were accompanied by midnight and Aizawa led the boys. On each floor the people that were assigned the rooms there left the group. Kirishima was pretty sad when Kaminari left him on the third floor but after all Sero was still with him. The smaller group of boys arrived on the fourth floor and Aizawa looked down at his list.
"The first room is assigned to Shouji. Second one Kirishima...", their teacher said and Kirishima prayed that Sero is gonna stay with him "and the third one Bakugo. The rest follows me upstairs".
The others left and Kirishima was left dumbstruck. His room was next to Bakugo's... the object of his nightmares. If he woke up screaming in the middle of the night, how would he be able to explain that to Bakugo? How could he possibly tell him that he had nightmares because he was afraid that Bakugo might get kidnapped again or worse killed? He just absolutely couldn't. And although he would have been thrilled any other time about the perspective of living next to Bakugo he was really anxious now. This could go so so horribly wrong.
"I am happy to be your neighbor, Kirishima", Shouji said as he took his suitcase and settled inside his room.
"Yeah me too, man", Kirishima answered him before the door of his room was closed and Kirishima and Bakugo stood in the hallway alone.
"Are you gonna stand there all day, shitty hair?", Bakugo raised his brow at him.
"No of course not", Kirishima stuttered "I am gonna go in and move my stuff and yeah...".
"Whatever", with that Bakugo went inside his room and threw the door shut.
"Yeah okay", Kirishima mumbled more to himself than to Bakugo who couldn't hear him now anyway. He pushed his door open as well and walked inside. His room was nice although a bit blank for now. But that was nothing he couldn't fix. And so he got started.
Some hours later he sat on one of the couches in the common room of the dorms and rested his head on the backrest. He chatted with his friends that had also already finished moving into their rooms and were just as exhausted as Kirishima was. After a while of talking and bragging about how cool their new rooms were some of the girls appeared to make a suggestion.
"How about we make a contest about whose room is the coolest?", Mina cheered happily "I would love to see everyone's room".
"That's actually a really cool idea", Sero agreed smiling.
"I would really like to see the girl's rooms", Mineta practically salivated and Mina cringed.
"Stop the inappropriate behaviour, Mineta!", Iida spoke up "as class president I think this idea gives us a great opportunity to take a closer look to everyone's personality and therefor helps us understand the others even better than before".
"I am not sure I want to look deeper into Mineta's life than I already do", Mina frowned "but I am excited to get to know the others more".
"Then let us start with the boy's rooms", Iida already walked up to the elevator and everyone followed him.
