mad anymore

🍒Payton's pov🍒

I woke up at 8 am to my phone ringing.

I squinted at my phone seeing Riley's name.

I looked at Gianna whom was still sleeping looking peaceful.

I groaned and tore my eyes away from her and got up and put a shirt on and answered the phone.

"Hello?" I groaned rubbing my eyes and walking away from the bed on the floor that took up the whole living space.

"Hello! Payton! OMG I missed you!" Riley's voice rung threw the phone.

"Uh yeah what do You need it's 8am" I sighed getting irritated quickly bc I was woken up early on a Sunday morning especially because I was cuddling with Govie... hehe

"Uh oh I just thought you'd be happy to talk to me since ya know we had a thing and-"

"We never dated Riley and you know that your just thinking wrong" I growled snapping. It was annoying Gianna was distant ever since Jaden said me and her dated even though we never did. I liked Gianna not her.

"Oh um...funny you mentioned that I wanted to ask If that Girl and you were together ya know gotta know what my besties doing..?" She whispered obviously upset.

"No...we're not but I'd like to-  Wait I can't trust you when you were gone for months" I sighed looking back as Gianna whom pulled the blanket over her head from the sun.

"Oh okay well I want you to know I'm going back to school tomorrow and what happened to you doing online school?" Riley said

I did and wanted to and the boys were in there but ever since I met Gianna I wanted to stay.

"Yeah I did but...things change" I sighed

"I got to go I'm at a friends house" I said not feeling like calling her anymore .

"Uh ok yeah see you tomorrow I guess"

With that she hung up making me sigh glancing at Gianna.

Why am I so fucking stupid that I can't just ask her out already. I mean I think she likes me but she was mad at me at night and now I don't even know what to do anymore.

But reasonably I just wanted to make her happy before I left to go home .

🦋Giannas pov🦋

I blinked a few times as the sun hit my face.

I rolled around in the covers warm but cold.

I looked at the sun and saw it was rather a beautiful day out.

I'm going to miss this place.

I turned my head not seeing Payton assuming he left until I heard a Pan sizzling.

I glanced at the kitchen grabbing my phone seeing it was 10 am.

Moms still at work so why would she be home.

I got up and pulled down my shorts and tossed my hair into a messy bun leaving a few strands out while  crossing my arms in the cold air taking a reminder that I needed to get a sweatshirt.

Walking to the kitchen I leaned on the door frame seeing Payton dancing while making bacon and eggs.

"Ya know you don't have to do that" I sighed making him jump and look at me making his face turn red.

"Oh well I though you just wanted something to eat and your mom told me you loved bacon and eggs a classic so I just-"

"It okay you don't have to apologize pay" I laughed rubbing my eyes.

"What time did you wake up anyway." I said walking over to him sitting in the counter.

"Uh around 6 and your mom got up at 7 sooo"

I nodded rubbing my arms to create some heat.

" I need to get a hoodie I'll-"

"Uh wait no you can just wear mine !" He said quickly taking his black hoodie with the stripes on the arms off, ya know his one iconic one everyone calls it.

While he took his sweatshirt off I calmed myself down while he finally took it off. "Here"

I muttered thanks and put it on. While putting it on I inhaled his scent. I pulled my hair threw and fixed my bun.

I guess you can say I wasn't mad anymore. But I wasn't mad last night really either so I guess I got lucky.
