So long to all my friends, everyone meeting tragic ends
If I could be with you tonight I would hold you and sing you to sleep
Fight them before they take the light behind your eyes
One day I'll lose the battle
As I fade into the never ending darkness
But just remember You will always burn as bright
Be strong and hold my hand
I'll lead you closer to the lights before I leave
We say goodbye today
To only await our future hello
I'm sorry it has to end this way
Any tear you shed I promise to wipe away
One day we will meet again, until then we must go our own ways
You can be stronger when I'm gone
But you must promise me you'll keep that strength
Fight off your own battles during the time I'm gone
Always remember to never let them take the light behind your eyes
Shine brighter than them
Push Them into the darkness and run farther into the lights
