you don't understand what goes through my head
you don't get what i think about
but music does
music is the only thing that understands me
that knows what to say
it turns all my negatives to positives
it lets me know there's hope
living in a world of black and white
music is what adds colour
what makes everything brighter
more enjoyable
guitar riffs
drum solos
note changes
all of that and more is what keeps me sane
what makes me continue on
you don't get it
or understand
but they all do
