Y/n POVIt is Wednesday. I skipped school Tuesday and most of Monday. I just told my parents that I wasn't feeling well and they believed me.
I wasn't lying when I told them that. I do feel sick.
Sick in the head.
I sighed as I looked at myself in the mirror. I saw imperfections everywhere I looked.
I had already told my parents I was going to walk to school. They left thirty minutes ago. I never told them I had depression or suicidal thoughts.
I had told them about my bullies at my old school and they let me transfer.
I also had social anxiety but it isn't as bad as the other two.
I was once again wearing all black. This time with black leggings and a black hoodie. I still had the hat and the mask on.
7:20
I started walking to school. I arrived at 7:42. I still had eighteen minutes to do what I want.
I decided to go back to the tree I was reading at from Monday. I was close to the tree when I noticed someone leaning on it.
I froze. It was LaLisa.
She seemed to be searching for someone, looking around the area with a frown.
She made eye contact with me and had a look of relief on her face. She walked towards me.
I felt my heart beat increasing rapidly, my palms started to get sweaty and I was heavily breathing.
I was having a panic attack.
LaLisa seemed to notice my condition and increased her pace towards me, looking worried.
I couldn't do it.
I turned around and ran from her.
"Y/n wait!" LaLisa yelled after me.
I can hear her running after me. I ran faster, as if being caught by her was going to be the death of me.
I heard her slow down, breathing heavily, "Y/n! Please wait!" She called after me.
I just continued running. I kept running and running until I bumped into a girl who was rounding a corner.
I slowed down just enough to catch her from falling and not hurt her.
"Are you okay?" She asks me.
I was sweating and breathing heavily, but I nodded my head.
She cocked her eyebrow, "Are you sure?"
My breathing slowed, "Yes."
She looked surprised at how fast I recovered, "You have good stamina. Maybe you should try out for cheer."
"You really think so?" I couldn't help but sound a bit happy.
She nodded her head at me, "My name is Chaeyoung Park but everyone calls me Rosé."
I knew everyone had heard about me and what happened on Monday.
I didn't want to cause a scene again. Especially since Rosé is in cheer, she might act just like Jennie did.
I cleared my throat, "The name suits you. I love your sense of style."
She looked pleasantly surprised when I heard, "Y/n!"
I turned around to see LaLisa running over to me. Rosé was looking at me in confusion before I continued to run away from LaLisa.
I know it's stupid because LaLisa was protecting me from Jennie but I was still scared of letting her in.
