Richie's POV
"It isn't the same without Eddie, I can't even joke," I croaked out in a hoarse voice. Bev rubbed my back comfortingly. Nobody said anything probably that they knew I was right.
Then the doctor walked in. "Mr. Tozier you scared us, we almost lost you. The cuts on your arm were very deep, so deep that you very nearly bleed out," The doctor explained emotionless and stern. "You should have let me bleed out," I spoke quietly with my head hung low.
"Why's that Mr. Tozier?" The doctor asked slightly caught off guard. "I hate being alive without my Eddie bear," I said tearing up.
The doctor cocked an eyebrow in curiosity. "Eddie was his true love and he passed not that long ago," Stan said pulling him aside.
Stan was talking to the doctor. After a few moments, he came back and told me I can leave in about an hour to two and a half. That shocked me. I thought I'd have to go to a mental health facility, but I guess not.
Stan signed me out of the hospital. When I got home I crashed immediately. I was exhausted. The bed was also very warm and cozy.
