"Okaaay..." Delia cleared her throat and hid the record under a file. It seems like Misty has been trying beauty tricks at home and waxing herself instead of using Ash's credit card for a day at a spa.

"I think Ash is in charge of the house shopping." Delia chuckled.

"That's quite responsible." The others laughed.

Ash seemed happy lately.

He never talks about the presidency, comes to office, go out to factories if necessary, sign papers, stay at work late if he has to - he was working in a way he never worked in before, and he wasn't blaming things on Delia like he used to do.

He called her every night to check on her.

"I don't know about you, but I think Ash is in love with the model." Jonathan spoke in a low voice. "Like, real love, true shit."

Silence around the room.

"They are a real couple." John added. "Like, doing it and all that - I mean, you've seen Ash lately? Look at him!"

"What? You see sex?" Bill chuckled. "How do you see that? Huh?"

"I don't really feel like talking about my son's sex life..." Delia looked annoyed.

"A woman and a man living with each other - I'm sorry John, but even if they're not in love, they could start having sex. This is Misty Williams. She's in the top ten in the region!"

"I'm sorry but I can't talk about Ash's-"

"But look at him! Look at his eyes!" Johnathan tried to convince his friend. "He is totally in love with the redhead!"

"And how do you know she's in love with him? Huh?" Georgia snapped. "I don't trust that woman the slightest bit! She's playing with Ash's heart and trying to win him over with her fake pancakes! Do you know the saying? The way to a man's heart is through his stomach! That woman is like raisin cookies! You can't trust it!"

Delia hid her face with her hands as her partners argued about Ash's love life.

"Not everyone hates raisin cookies! My daughter-in-law makes great raisin cookies!"

"Oh, Bill!"

"Can we all calm down?" Delia attempted again.

"They are in love! End of discussion!" Johnathan shouted. "We should stop caring about their life and move on with the business! This board has become ridiculous!"

Delia, Ben, Georgia and Bill didn't reply.

"We wanted to make sure this isn't a game played by both, and we've come to the conclusion it's not."

"How are you so sure?" Georgia asked.

"Look at Ash's face!" Johnathan chuckled. "Can't you see? That boy is like our kid! We know him like the back of our hands!"

Ben leaned forward and opened his file. "Well, I admit Ash's love life isn't what we usually discussed during the board reunions."

Bill turned toward Georgia. "You need to come over someday, when my son and his wife are home - you'd love those raisin cookies."

Georgia rolled her eyes and leaned back on her leather chair.

Delia smiled to herself. She opened her file and checked the papers. "And I definitely need to go over my son's place and try those pancakes. What do you think?"
