So fun fact before you start reading, this was based on a dream I had and I thought it was story-worthy material so here ya go!
_
Another one. Fantastic.
It began Friday. You knew it was coming because that morning you felt over the moon. Your body and mind always make you extra wake and excited before your depressive episodes come crashing in. So that morning, when you actually put on jeans and not joggers and put on a shirt that required an actual bra, not a training one. You felt it coming. Zayn knew it was coming as well.
You and Zayn have been dating for almost a year. He's been through multiple episodes in that 12-month time span. In fact, he's the only one who's been through them with you. He's the only one who knows you deal with the episodes. Yes, you're friends know you deal with depression. Hell so do all of them, however, they don't know when you're in a depressive episode. Your mother doesn't even know you have depression. She just thinks you're lazy, cause when she asks if you're dealing with depression you lie and say no because you don't want to tell her any of your thoughts.
No one really knew you and Zayn were together. Yes, even though you've been together for almost a year. Well, besides your close friends that it. People know you know each other, people know you guys talk, but people also think he's a player, a bad boy. Bullshit. Both of you have never seen a need to tell people about your relationship but honestly, you both thought it was none of their business.
As said, Zayn knew the episode was coming. That moment you walked up the steps at school and Zayn spotted you (He was sat on the window ledge, that you walk past every day to get to homeroom) dressed in those jeans and that shirt, he automatical knew.
"Y/N?"
Zayn spoke quietly, swinging his legs to dangle off the ledge as you walked up the stairs towards him.
You don't reply as you approach him, now if you were any closer you'd be between his legs. When your head drops to hang low, that was all the confirmation he needed.

The day dragged on. Another indicator that an episode was coming showed. You were extremely irritable. You're whole friend group, including you, had extremely self-deprecating humor. However, when these episodes come along, them telling you they don't care about what you're saying or making fun of your imperfect speech or them calling you a dumb bitch doesn't sit with you in a joking way.
By the time you get to Geometry, your final period and only class with Zayn (as you are a junior and he's a senior). You were head deep into the episode. During lunch you felt as though you were going to puke, however you didn't so you weren't sent home. During history, you felt light-headed and black spots blurred your vision, signs of your anxiety creeping in. Then in English, you get assigned your final assignment on the book you're reading, The Great Gatsby. Being able to choose between a 100 question test or doing a project. Not feeling up to the project, but not wanting to take the test due to the fact that you're a horrible test taker, it makes the weight on your shoulders grow. Then in Biology, you get paired up with two boys in your class to do an in-class project. Two boys who are failing, you don't like and don't really know. So by the time you get to Geometry, all you want is for Zayn to hold you while you curl up into a ball. Normally math is easy for you, however, with the recent lessons, you've been nothing up confused.
