Previously:

The dark elf, whom (Y/n) and Neji have met before, appears at the door of (Y/n) 's room. But before anything bad could happen, Neji came to save her. Although she was injured and the situation seemed to affect her psyche, she was still glad that Neji was there. On the next day the group continues on where (Y / n) sees rain for the first time.

"(Y/n)?" Neji said my name with a questioning tone.
He stopped behind me and waited for me until I went on again.
Without saying anything I walked after Hiashi.

After a few hours of running and being carried, we finally arrived at the village. The walls appeared out of nowhere as we stepped out of a forest.
We passed through a giant gate, the green doors of which were wide open seemed pretty oversized to me, the dirt path was wide and long, you could say that it was already going into the horizon.
The guards on the wall only looked down at us briefly and then returned to their work.
So we strolled through the main street of the village and after only a few minutes I understood how big it was. You couldn't even compare the size with the tribe, this village was probably four times as big.
It was already quite dark, but the colors of the shops on the left and right still came to retribution.
However, they were a little faded and cloudy for my taste, which is why this area came across so sadly.

"We can still register you in the village tomorrow, everything is closed anyway." Hiashi informed me.
Closed? Then where will I stay?
"Where are you taking me?" I asked slightly confused.
"With us, it was agreed that you would stay in our property. So we are sure that nothing happens to you." Hiashi spoke again.

The path changed to a gray cobblestone, and at some point we walked along a low wall that severed an estate. When we were at the main entrance and the trees were gently blowing in the wind, we walked through the covered gate.
A large garden appeared, the lawn was beautifully green and lively, but there were hardly any plants growing, only lined up trees along the wall.
The big building in front of us, which was probably the main focus, was in a really nice style.
A few pillars supported the front, the brown cross beams brought some color to the white walls and the bricks on the roof were in a beautiful anthracite.

We approached the wooden door and Hiashi unlocked it.
Gentle he pushed the door open and let both, Neji and me enter.
"Please take off your shoes." Neji said before I had the time to look around properly.
I did as he told and slipped out of my shoes and left them standing neatly at the entrance.
"Neji will you show (Y/n) her room?" Hiashi asked and Neji answered with a small nod.

I walked after the young Hyuga, from time to time lamps were attached to the narrow aisle, which glowed in a soft yellow.
"Neji-niisan?" A soft voice stopped him, making me nearly bump in his back.
A brief glance into an open room showed a young lady, she looked shy and rather reserves, but a friendly smile played on her lips. " And you have to be (Y/n)-chan, r-right?" At the end she stuttered uncertainly.
"Yes, good evening." I greeted her.
She came nearer to us. "Welcome in the family!" She spread her arms right in front of me.
Neji seemed cool as always, but I could literally feel that something was bothering him, he tapped his fingertips lightly, almost imperceptibly on his thigh.
I blushed slightly and leaned over to hug her. "Thank you, I never thought that I would be welcomed here in such a friendly way."
She pulled away."Oh what, we're kind of sisters soon!"

Neji intervened, took my forearm and pulled me closer to him.
I looked up at him, slightly surprised, a nervous smile was on his thin lips. "Hinata-sama always makes friends very quickly, and since you basically live in the same house, it will feel like you are siblings." He spoke a little faster than usual." He turned to the young lady, who seemed to be Hinata. "If you excuse us, I will show (Y/n) her room, she is a little tired from the trip."
Actually I was really tired but since I met Hinata the tiredness had disappeared of, I just forgot about it.
I could never make friends really quickly and I always was fine with that, but for the first time I really wanted to make an effort. We were just on the same wavelength.
Besides, Neji seemed strange to her, maybe he didn't like her, did he? Well that didn't concern me either.

I pulled myself out of his grip and moved closer to Hinata.
"I'm not really tired right now, and a same-sex interlocutor would be refreshing for me right now." I tried to justify him well enough so that he had no objection.
"Besides, you seem to be in a hurry right now, why don't you let Hinata'-sama' lead me to my room? Surely she knows this estate as well as you do, right 'sister'?" The word sister sounded strange in my mouth, especially because I rarely said something like that to my real half-sister.
It seemed like I caught Neji cold. He had an indefinable facial expression that looked pretty funny.
Suddenly he sighed, turned around and started to walk. "Fine, but I got something for (Y/n). Hinata show her her space and come to my room."

Glad about the success I watched Hinata, which just had a big question mark over her head.
"When you're ready." I told her.
"O-Oh, right" She blushed and started to walk.
A silence surrounded us, but it didn't bother me, I was used to it anyway, and she seemed to be in thoughts.
Soon we stopped at a door. "So that's you room, feel completely at home. I will be right back." She said, turning around and probably walking towards Neji's room.

I put my backpack next to the bed and scanned the room, a large fluffy bed on the right corner, a cute small table next to it with a lamp on it, a book rule with only one book inside in the other corner, next to it a desk with a chair, above of it was a window, a wardrobe next to the door and a slightly smaller shelf on the other side of the door.
The room and furniture is in a light wood tone, probably maple, mixed with a soft white.
I unpacked the few things I had when there was a knock on my door.
"Hinata, just come in!" I told to the door, expecting Hinata.
She pushed the door open and smiled slightly, but something about the smile disturbed me. It looked so weird, nearly imposed.
"U-uhm-" She started to stutter and put a small bright stack in her hand neatly on the table. "N-Neji-niisan asked me to bring you these."She blushed slightly and still had her eyes on the fabric.
"Are you alright?" I asked carefully.
Her big white eyes widen for a moment, but then relaxed. Her fake smile was exchanged for a sincere, honest one.
"I am fine."
The mood relaxed a bit again and I walked to the table to take a closer look at the stack.

It was clothing consisting of a couple of shirts sweaters and a skirt.
"I thought you couldn't just wear shirts and added one of my skirts." Hinata explained the grey fabric.
"Thank you, I really don't have many things with me..." I thanked her and laid the cloth back down.
I really didn't know what to say, but Hinata seemed to find this easier. "We could go shopping together tomorrow." She suggested. "I could invite some friends of mine!"
"That sounds really great, thank you!" I returned the smile. The first time I felt really comfortable. Even in the tribe it took me a long time to feel like this. "Do you have many friends?" I asked almost worried what made her giggle.
"Yes, you might say that, but tomorrow will be a girls day!" She assured me and turned a little red.
"You are blushing,  who do you think of?" I asked interested.
She looked at me amazed. "How do you know it's a person?"
"I just guessed, but with the smile of yours...you really like him hu?" I started to tease her.
She put her hands on her cheeks. "Well, we're still trying to figure out exactly where we are, but I've been liking him for a long time." She said that really fast.
I laughed at the sight of her. "Well, I'm sure you two will get through it."
"Do you have a certain someone?" Now it was she who asked carefully.
My mood kind of died with that question.
I almost forgot.

I swallowed hard while my heart pained.
It was like putting a needle in my heart with every heartbeat.
"Well, I have, or more had." I nodded and stroked a strain of my messy (h/c) hair behind my pointed ear. "It was complicated and you couldn't really tell if we were together, most of the people didn't even know that we liked each other."
I didn't know exactly why I told her, but she had this calming effect on me, she was someone I would have a lot to do with and I just felt like I had to talk Haldir from my soul.
"So he liked you back..?" She stated in a questioning tone.
I nodded in agreement. "As I said, complicated. Well, I don't even know when I'm going back to the tribe and if he'll still be single, but I hope he understood that if he fell in love again I would be okay, I mean you can't wait for a certain person your whole life, can you?" It gushed out of me.

"It almost sounds like you've known each other for a while." To my surprise she took my hand and lead me to the bed where we both sat down. "It doesn't matter what others say and it doesn't matter what you say."She said slowly with her calming voice. "Your souls were connected, and now you are lovesick." She seemed somehow to me like an old wise lady at that moment.
I slightly laughed at the thought of me being lovesick. "I am not lovesick." I shook my head.
She looked at me pityingly. " It's okay if you don't want to admit it yet, you are on stage two of the breakup."
"Wait, Stage of breakup?" One of my eyebrows raised.
