Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto and the Characters. I only own the story and the characters I invented.
Previously:
(Y/n) and Theoden complete the spell on the wall, it was like a voice calling (Y/n) and putting her into a trance.
Neji and Haldir manage to safe (Y/n), but they are still in the collapsing cave.
"Neji!" Haldir stopped when he heard the impact.
He quickly came to my side and took Theoden off my shoulder, laid him on the floor and pressed with all of his weight against the rock, but nothing happened.
"It's too heavy, leave me here!" I said in a hushed voice and frowned.
It could be that easy for him.
He could leave me here without hesitation.
Black veins developed in his face, which was slightly flushed from the exertion.
The big rock moved from my foot with a scraping noise, and fragments continued to fall on us from above.
Would we still make it out or was it too late?
Time stopped for a moment.
It wasn't the first time that I thought I was going to die, but the first time I didn't want to.
I was glad that (Y/n) was safe now, but I wanted to be with her.
I had hoped that we would be together for some very long years and experience a lot, start our own little family.
Funny how all these pictures flew by in front of my eyes and now I thought to myself:
That is not enough. I want more. More Time!
My time was too short.
The last thing I saw were bright red eyes before the loud popping noise made my ears beep and the pressure nearly tore my body apart.
*3th Person*
Haldir's bloody red eyes glowed wildly, the veins in his face turned to a pitch black, which made his face look even darker.
I've never seen her so happy as with you.
With you she will alway be in good hands, buddy.
It echoed through the head of the dark elf as a boulder detached itself from the ceiling and rushed towards the entrance of the room.
She will be safe.
The elf raised his hands and let out a huge pressure wave, which tore off the skin on his fingers.
But the stabbing pain was worth it, as long as HE would survive and take care of his great love.
Yes, he could have saved himself, but he knew it wouldn't do him any good.
He knew that she wouldn't forgive him if Neji didn't get out alive.
He, her husband.
Haldir didn't understand how she could love him, but he would do anything as long as (Y/n) is happy, even if it he had to give his greatest rival his own life.
The last sight of the dark elf was Neji, who kept his eyes closed, he must have passed out.
His body shot backwards with a tremendous force, he flew along the whole cave and with such precise precision and accuracy that you could think that he had wings with which he squirmed himself through the passage.
*(Y/n)'s PoV*
I took a deep breath and swallowed hard the pain downwards into my stomach.
The fresh, moist air made me shiver.
An arm on my back gave me the warmth that I really needed right now, while he slowly pressed me to his body.
My head was off, I didn't want to think about the situation.
Nobody came. Not even one of the dark elves. Sure, why should they?
Tears blocked the path of my field of vision on his tombstone.
One week passed and no one talked about him anymore.
Well, the elves wouldn't praise a renegade, so it was a good thing the elves forgot.
But we wouldn't.
We couldn't.
Neji and I would not forget what he did for us.
"Not even his mother came." I mumbled horrified when the next tear fell.
The grip around me got tighter."It's unfair." Neji agreed with me.
She wouldn't come to celebrate her son as a hero.
