The shocking truth

Isla's P.O.V.
I'm heading back to my home town, Washington to see my brother for the first time. My father eventually told me about Tim. It's crazy I never knew who he was. I boarded my plane and plugged my earplugs in.

5 hours later.
My plane pulled up to the Washington airport, I got off to see my father waiting. 'Hi dad' I said walking over to him. I gave him a quick cuddle and asked 'have you told Tim?' He shook his head. 'We're off to go meet him at his work' I nodded. I got into the taxi and headed to the office.

We finally arrived at the office. Dad gave Tim a call and he met us in the lobby.
'Who's this?' He asked looking at me. 'Son, this is your sister' he told him. He looked gob smacked. Yep, exactly how I pictured him. 'I'm sorry, what?!' He raised his voice. 'Your mother never told me she had another child. Isla got in touch about a week ago. We arranged to meet up and she showed me pictures on the drive here' he replied. 'Umm, well. Okay. I'm Tim, your brother.. I guess. Fancy meeting the team?' He asked me. I nodded. 'Sure' we walked upstairs and into this office thing. Wow, orange walls. Original. 'DiNozzo, Bishop and Gibbs, this is Isla. My sister' he paused. They all stood up like they wanted to punch me in the face. I stood behind McGee, 'why are they looking at me like that?' I whispered. Tim pushed me from behind him and infront of him. 'Isla, this is DiNozzo' he said pointing to a guy infront of me. I held my hand out for him to shake. Which he did. 'This is bishop' he said pointing to a beautiful blonde. I shook her hand. 'And this is my boss, gibbs' he said pointing to a grey haired man. I shook his hand. I've gotta admit, he's pretty cute. I quickly came out of my daze. 'Okay, well nice to meet you all. I'm Isla, originally from Australia. Umm yeah. Okay' I said trying to change the topic. It just got very awkward. And the cute guy is still looking over at me. It's like he's looking into my soul. 'Dad. We done here?' I asked finding a reason to leave. 'Tim, we'll meet you after work, for some lunch?' He insisted. 'Yeah, I'll give you a call' Tim replied. We walked over to the elevator and I took a quick glance back to notice gibbs was still looking my way. I gave him a quick smile before entering the elevator.

Tim's P.O.V.
Just met my sister and introduced her to the team. That was awkward. 'Hey, your sister, she seems nice, hard to believe she's your sister' Bishop said walking away laughing. I mimicked her laugh and carried on with working.

We eventually wrapped up the case. 'Tim, go home. Go have that lunch you said you'd attend' Gibbs shouted across the desks. I forgot about that. I packed up my stuff and started walking to Gibbs desk. 'Boss, I don't even know if she's related to me. She looks nothing like admiral or me' I hesitated. He looked up at me and gave me a stern look. 'Maybe she looks like your mom' he said. I opened my mouth as if I was going to say something. But nothing came out. Maybe she did look like my mom. I mean, explains the long brown hair and the blue eyes. I'll have to get to know her more tonight.
