Soul Mermaid(H2O: Just Add Water Fanfic)

Chapter 1-Arriving

I sat in the seat near the window, looking out as the plane took off. If you didnt know already, I'm moving to the Gold Coast in Austalia. I've decided to start over my life. Since there's nothing for me in London. My family is gone, I don't have any friends, I lost my job, and I lost my boyfriend two years ago. So, there's nothing for me.

Hi, I'm Alyssa Marie Martin. I'm 18 years old and i used to live in London. I have long blond hair that goes to my belly button, ocean blue eyes, fair shin, and a mermaid tail. Okay back up, yes i have a mermaid tail. I've had one since i was 14. It's a copper colored tail. But i don't go swimming that often because I only have one arm. And there's another thing I have to tell you.

I only have one arm. Which is my left, and that's good since I'm right-handed. My left arm got taken by my ex-boyfriend. I broke up with him and he got angry so he grabbed my left arm and basically crushed every bone in my arm. Since every bone in my arm was basically crushed to bits by him, the doctor said he had to take my arm off or I would definately die. That's the story of how I now have only one arm.

How I became a mermaid, now that's a different story. My family and I were in Hawaii when I was 14 and I went to an island a bit father out. It was a full moon and I jumped in a pool, the next when I touched water-- boom! I'm a mermaid. There's not really mush to it. I've never met another mermaid though, i wish i could so that way I won't be so alone. That's basically it about me.

Right now I am just sitting in my seat. I'm really nervous about moving to Australia but at the same time I am excited. I wonder if I will make new friends? Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see. I put in my earbuds and turn on my iPhone to listen to some music. Next thing I know, I'm drifting off to sleep.

I was woken up by someone tapping my shoulder. I turn to the person who was trying to get my attention and it was the Flight Attendant. "Excuse me miss, but we have landed." She said. It took me a minute to process what she said before I jumped out of my seat to get my bag.

"Oh, right! I'm so sorry!" I told her. She just waved it off a said it was fine. I rushed off the plane and ran to the window to see where I am. May I just say, Oh my gosh it's so beautiful! There were palm trees, flowers, birds, different people, beaches, and the sun! You don't see the sun too often in London, it's just cloudy and rainy most of the time. I already love it here!

I then snapped out of my thoughts and quickly ran to the luggage area to get my suitcase. It took about 5 minutes before I saw my bag and headed out the building. After I was outside I called a cab and told it to go to 5521 River Blvd. Where my new house awaits.
