" You can't sleep ?" Taehyung echoed in her ear as he tightened the grip around her .

Her entire body was shaking , she clutched her tiny fingers around his arms and hid her face in the crock of his neck .

He felt her shook her head and sniffle .

" it's okay baby i am here " he stated , caressing her head lovingly .

" i am not dreaming , right ?" Her soft sweet voice claimed , shifting away from him just so she can stare him in the eyes .

He smiled holding her hand and directing it toward his cheek .

" you aren't love , i am here as promised " he played with the palm of her other hand .

" where were you all this time ?" Her vision became blurry as tears threatened to fall . He leaned down to kiss her forehead as he played with her hair .

" that's a long story for another time "

- 3 Months earlier -

" You are the kim Taehyung , the son of Kim Seo-yeong ? " one of the soldiers he shared a room with asked in disbelieve .

Taehyung carried the latter toward his top banker .
" yes , is there a problem there ?" He flashed a glare toward the younger man who was exited to personally meet his idol .

" not at all , are you kidding me , I've been looking up unto you since i was 13 years old , i even studied ...." he answered in so much agony .

Taehyung turned to look at the boy who just bluntly called him his long life role model inspiration. He stayed silent for a moment just admiring the boy who smiled cheerfully at him .

" I'm Jung hoseok , I'm Korean too " he introduced himself , gesturing his hand toward him .

He shock hands .
" i figured that out already " he spoke gently , forcing a smile .

Taehyung on his way to his top bed , accidentally knocked down his pillow .

" ah shit , can you please get it for me " he sweetly asked the boy who gladly jumped down and knelt down to get his pillow . Suddenly a photo flew off landing perfectly on his bed .

Hoseok took the photo and admired the beautiful girl silently . His mouth hang open for the first time seing Taehyung smiling widely in a picture .

Most of his company pictures that were posted in journals were either Him being angry or not interested. No one knew off his love relationship and it was surprising for hoseok to see him with a girl .

He then , handed the photo back , still gazing deeply at the woman in the pink dress , smiling shyly at the camera .

Taehyung widened his eyes before he snatched it away from the boy .

" oh im sorry , it -" he tried explaining himself but he was cut when the other one spoke .

" she's my wife , and my lucky charm " he was calm and his face softened at the sight of his wife smiling . He missed her so much , much more than the heart can handle . His chest almost exploded thinking about her .

His been away for a whole year from home and after the escape has accursed two weeks ago , he decided to plan his journey toward home on his own , but then there was hoseok .

" im sorry "

" what are you apologizing for ?" Taehyung asked with a frown looking down at the boy .

" i never saw you speak about her in any of your announcements before , so i guess that she have .... passed away " Hoseok stuttered, he was terrified to speak those words , he wasn't sure of how he would react back .

Taehyung on the other half stayed quiet, debating wether to speak about her to him or let him think otherwise .

His relationship has kept secret for so long and he wasn't going to risk that now . But he wanted to speak of her with the whole world.

" she's alive and well , it was kept secret from every member of my family . My parents rejected at first but just when i confronted them we secretly got married , that's why she is kept hidden from the press "

" so she's not dead ?" Hoseok's face light up .

" mhm" he hummed in response .

" so this is why you're escaping the military " he then admitted .

Taehyung rolled to the other side . The word ' escape' wasn't something he wanted to hear .

" You know why I have followed you " hoseok started .
" because you are someone i trust a lot nevertheless , you are very serious in your doing and intelligent, everything you do is right so i figured two brains is better than one , plus it's my first time seeing you this up close " he added

Taehyung turned to his previous position , staring speechless at the guy who just admitted his heart out to him . He felt small knowing that someone out there admired his work and for once was appreciative . Mia was the only one who saw the best of him , and seeing someone else do the same thing really made him happy .

" i speak a lot " he zipped his mouth and threw the imaginary key away , laying down on his back .

" this is the first time i hear this coming from a total stranger , no one appreciated me for what i do but Miandra , my parents always thought of me as a failure and everything went downhill" Taehyung murmured , squeezing his eyes shot recalling the days .

Hoseok gasped before he looked at the older man with wide eyes .
