The Truth about the World Cup

After 5 minutes of Resting the announcer made his last announcements 

Announcer: all right everybody  The last Race will decide everything, everyone ready ? 

Team Dark: of course we are 

Team Sonic: we wouldn't stand here if we weren't

Announcer: allright perfect  then please everyone go to start Line 

Both teams went to their positions and were getting ready, CapeBoy was looking at Shadow, he just nooded back , on a big screen was a big countdown  it went down fast, when it hitted 1 Everybody speed of faster than the speed of sound, Sonic and Shadow were equal fast 

Sonic: not bad Shadow Im impressed 

Shadow: i would be faster but i have reason to slow down 

Sonic: what do you mean? 

Shadow concentrated on the Energy of Chaos Sword, he grabed Sonics arm and activated Chaos Control 

Sonic: well you must have a reason to stop time  with me so lets hear it  whats going on ? 

Shadow: while your team had the Race against Team Babylon CapeBoy overcharged one of those little Robots and took a closer look at it 

Sonic: anything interessting ? 

Shadow: those things are from Eggman  

Sonic: thats a bad sign, with other word you activated Chaos Control so you we can discuss a plan? 

Shadow: Exacly 

Sonic: i had a bad feeling from the beginning too but that Announcer  is strange to dont you think ? 

Shadow: what do you mean ? 

Sonic: i dont know i just have a bad feeling but if those little Robots are from Eggman that Announcer he could be with Eggman 

Shadow: true, so what are we gonna do ? 

Sonic:  i have 2 ideas, ether we are confronting him after the first round or we play along 

Shadow: Confronting would be faster lets do that 

Sonic: allright 

Shadow: good now get ready i will resume time 

Sonic: Ready 

Shadow Resumed time and both were going at full speed after they finished the First turn Sonic and Shadow Jumped both high in the Air and were confronting the Announcer, the other Racers were finishing their turn and joined both Hedgehogs, CapeBoy teleported behind the CapeBoy the Announcer and held him in a grip where he could't break free

Announcer: what the hell is going on? 

Shadow: we know that you are working with Eggman

 Announcer: How do you know ? 

CapeBoy: those little flying Robots, i overcharged one of them and took a closer look 

Sonic: Where is he ? 

Announcer: he's ... not .. here 

Rouge: what do you mean he's not here?

The Announcer managed to get out of the Grip then he jumped into the air and Transformed into something familiar, into a  Robot who looked pretty much like Sonic 

Everyone: Metal Sonic 

Metal Sonic: thats right, Eggman never collected enough data from any of you no wonder he always fails, thats why i held the World Cup so i can become The Only  one True Sonic The Hedgehog 

Sonic: like that is going to happen!

Metal Sonic: Soon it will Sonic, belive me 

Sonic and Shadow attempted to attack Metal with their Homeing attack but Metal caught both and kicked them away

Metal Sonic: just you wait Sonic, your demise will come soon 

Metal flew away CapeBoy chased after Metal 

CapeBoy: not if i have something to say to that 

Metal Sonic: what can you do what the others Cant 

CapeBoy: how about this 

CapeBoy Absorbed a bit energy of the Chaos Sword and Turned into Super CapeBoy 

Metal Sonic: how did you turn Super without The Chaos Emeralds 

Super CapeBoy: well i have a Sword which helds the Power of The Super AND of the Master Emerald

Metal Sonic: interessting, but why are you telling me this ? 

Super CapeBoy: because i will send you back in tiny pieces back to Eggman  but i will take you save file off all the data 

Metal Sonic: then try to catch me if you can 

Super CapeBoy: with pleasure 

Metal Sonic flew away at Light Speed but Super CapeBoy catched up with ease and Punched Metal Sonic in the face making his screen crack a little 

Super CapeBoy: comon take this serious 

Metal Sonic: now you asked for it!

Metal Sonic rolled into a ball and charged energy for the Light Speed attack, Metal quickly moved around and Attacked CapeBoy very often 

Super CapeBoy: how annoying   CHAOS CONTROL 

Super CapeBoy moved to Metal and Punched him very often on the chest and throuh Chaos Spears at him, when time resumed Metal got blown into a building, Super CapeBoy flew at the Buidling and saw Metal, who was deactivated 

Super CapeBoy: good that takes care of that, i better take that to tails so he can take a look at him

Super CapeBoy Turned back to Normal and took Metal by the Foot and flew back to the others 

CapeBoy: is everyone allright ? 

Sonic: of course we are, did you get Metal? 

CapeBoy threw Metal on the Ground 

CapeBoy: hey tails do you think you can get information out of him ? 

Tails: i can see what i can do but it will take a little bit 

CapeBoy: perfect well then Lets go home
