Roman sat impatiently on the couch. Alice and Wonderland was over hours ago and Virgil had already gone to bed.
The redhead couldn't sleep. He knew he should since his performance was tommorow but he was far too busy thinking. Thinking about this house. Thinking about the performance. Thinking about his dog, Genie. Thinking about Virgil.
He walked down the hall admiring the number of instruments Virgil had just laying around the house, and up to Virgil's room and knocked on the door. He heard a groan then an oof. "What the everliving fuck could you possibly want at this ungodly hour you pompus wormheaded camel turd."
Roman chuckled as Virgil opened the door in a sweatshirt and sweatpants, his purple and black hair everywhere. Roman had to admit he looked kind of cute. "Hello to you to sleeping moody."
Virgil glared up at him. "You have five seconds before I drop kick you down the stairs and go back to bed."
Before Roman could think he blurted, "You can't kick me. You're not strong enough." Right then he knew that that was not something you should ever say to Virgil.
The other chuckled darkly. "Oh yeah? Watch me." Vigil grabbed Roman by his ear and dragged him over to the long staircase. He held Roman over the top step. "You have a few seconds to convince me to spare you, or make me want to drop you more."
Roman spun around so fast that the tired Vigil didn't know what was happening. Now it looked like Roman was dipping Vigil above the staircase, before pulling him back up. "I always save the princess." He smirked as Virgil lightly blushed and pushed himself out of Roman's arms.
Virgil grumbled something inaudible but grabbed Roman's hand and dragged him back to the room. Vigil pointed to a blanket on the ground. "Sleep with that in here. On the floor since you're obviously not sleeping on the couch."
Roman tilted his head as Vigil fell onto his bed, already snoring. Roman scowled. "If I'm sleeping on the floor, so are you." He pulled Virgil off the bed who had woken back up and was on the floor.
"I don't wanna sleep down here it's too dark an spooky." Virgil mumbled as he flopped on Roman's lap and looked up at him.
"Don't worry I'll protect you from the scary shadow monsters." Roman joked as he hugged Virgil. Virgil struggled but eventually gave in and fell asleep as Roman leaned back and eventually followed in suit.
