Chapter 28

Yoongi's Pov
She is probably so confused right now. I know the truth can be quite a lot for someone to take in. I just wish Taehyung would have been more careful. It wasn't the right time for her to find out. It's never the right time...

I watch her through the window. Her hair moves ever so slightly with the morning breeze. I could see her breath every time she would sigh. The sun is starting to rise now, so I decide to bring her some coffee and a smoke. I fill up the back of the coffee maker with water and pour in the coffee grounds, pressing start. It takes a couple of minutes, but eventually the coffee maker beeps and I take out the coffee pot, pouring our cups. I finish putting creamer in her coffee and grabbed my cigarettes off of the counter. 'I really should stop smoking.' I think to myself as I slid the door open with my free hand, stepping out into the cool morning air.

"Hey..." I say to get her attention. She looks up at me, holding out her hands to take the mug. I hand her, her coffee, hearing her rings make a noise against the cup as she wraps her fingers around the handle. I pull out two cigarettes and a lighter, lighting one for her and then myself, waiting for her to speak.

After about three minutes she finally does. "I'm trying so hard to understand this..." I know she is, I can see just how hard she's trying. The fact of the matter is she won't be able to. Not right away at least. "Yoongi... I want to understand, but can we start small?" I nod my head. "Yeah, we can start small." She averts her gaze from mine as she bites at her chapped lips. "Why are your wings black and the other boys have different colors?"

I take a sip of my coffee, trying to figure out how to word my answer so she will understand. "All of us originate from Heaven. Originally we all have white wings like Jimin." I can see her trying to follow along. "Kaos.." I haven't said her name in so long.. Not out loud at least. "Who's Kaos?" her voice is cautious and soft. This girl is starting to truly grow on me. "She was the love of my life, we spent many lives together, each one better than the last." "What happened to her, Yoongi?" I haven't talked about this in so long. My throat is starting to burn. "She made destruction among the heavens and hell. In turn, she was cast down to hells graveyard, but she was eventually sent here; to Earth. While she was gone, I started to go insane without her. That happens when an angel loses their soulmate. We will do anything to get them back. My soul mate just happened to be the craziest angel of them all." She shifts her position in the chair. "So how does this lead to your wings becoming black?"

I'm remembering everything like it was a movie in my head. "I raised hell. I did everything to get cast down so I could find her. I pissed off all of the gods. I refused any sort of order I was given. Eventually, they kicked me out of heaven and sent me to hell. Once I was down there, he directed me here. I have been looking for her ever since." She looked at the window, watching the rest of my brothers. "What about them?" I pursed my lips. "After I was cast down Jungkook didn't want to be there anymore without me. So he got cast down as well, but he didn't do anything near as bad as me, that's why he still has white in his wings, Taehyung can't live without Jungkook so he told the Gods he was leaving, which is why he has black on his, but they are still mostly white. The rest of them slowly followed. Eventually they all found me." "Can you ever go back?" I smile. "Yeah, I can, but my wings will never be white again, I'll forever have them as a reminder of what I've done. What I would do because I won't ever leave without Kaos. I've been here for a long time Red." Just at that moment, Namjoon opens the door. "Yoongi hyung. Red. Muse is leaving now. Come say goodbye." I looked at Red one more time, touching her knee. "C'mon, let's go say bye." I extend my hand out to her, helping her up. After she stood up and we walked in the house, I noticed that she was still holding my hand.
