"What did you do that for?" shouted Roman, angry at Logan for leaving Virgil, without staying to find out what was troubling him.
Logan, however, was unfazed, and responded, "it was clear that we weren't going to get any information out of him at this moment, we should wait until he comes downstairs."
3 hours Later, Logan noted that Thomas' anxiety levels had dropped enough for Virgil to have come down, and in harmony with his prediction, Virgil made his way, slowly, down the stairs and sat down on one side of the sofa curling up into a ball, ignoring the concerned looks aimed his way.
Logan made his way over to his armchair and sat down, all the while reading a book, Patton plopped down next to Virgil, but not too close as to put him on edge, as Roman had informed Patton about Virgil not wanting to be touched. And Roman placed the DVD for 'Snow white and the seven dwarfs' in the DVD Player, and then sat down next to Patton, holding the remote, and selecting play.
The movie went uneventful, with Roman singing along to the songs, Patton squealing at the little animals at how cute they were and Logan trying hard not to point out all the inconsistencies in the movie. The others saw Virgil visibly relax, and even before the movie ended, fell asleep snuggled up to Patton, looking small in his arms.
When the movie ended, the remaining sides looked at one another, wondering what they should do next. Roman broke the silence, "so, how do you suppose we question Virgil now Logan?"
Logan was about to respond but Patton cut him off, "shhh, we can't wake him up, it looks like this has been the first time he's slept in days!"
The Anxious side mumbled in his sleep, almost agreeing with Patton. "Maybe we can talk to him tomorrow?" Patton suggested, already reaching for a blanket trying not to move Virgil too much. Roman handed it to him, he sighed "you're right Patton, goodnight" he said, and made his way upstairs. Logan followed him, still engrossed in his book.
Patton finished tucking in Virgil, gave him a little peck on the forehead and headed up to bed as well.
Virgil smiled in his sleep.
