Davia is sat by herself with a bowl of cereal at the table in the dark
Callie rolls over on the couch looking at Davia
Davia chews her cereal in the most annoying way possible
CALLIE
Why do you chew like that?
Davia jumps a little and looks in Callies direction
DAVIA
God, I'm gonna put a bell on you. I was trying to be quiet so I didn't wake you
Callie rolls back over on the couch
CALLIE
Well your plan failed, just chew normaly, you sound like a damn hamster
Davia rolls her eyes and turns on her phone to see a text from Dennis
*hey...are you up?*-Dennis
Davia frowns and types back
*yes?*-Davia
*can you come down here please*- Dennis
*yeah I'll be down in a second*- Davia
Davia gets up and quickly goes out of the coterie doors
INT. COTERIE - DENNIS'S LOFT
Davia knocks lightly and pokes her head in
DAVIA
Dennis?
Davia walks in slowly
Dennis sits in the middle of his bed
DAVIA
(Concerned)
Hey..everything okay?
Dennis looks around at his bed at the papers around him
Davia steps closer and realizes their photos of Jacob
DAVIA
What are you doing
DENNIS
I liked remembering the good times...and after I went to group yesterday before our date i told them about our conversation and how i sang his song and she told me to keep doing it
Dennis holds up a photo to Davia
DAVIA
(Smiles)
You went to Disneyland?
Davia takes the photo and sits on the side of the bed
DENNIS
It was a trip for Jacob when he turned 3 but honestly...I think Jenifer was more excited than he was
Davia smiles at the photo of Dennis and Jacob wearing mickey ears
DAVIA
I'm looking at it but I cant picture you as a Disney dad
DENNIS
Are you kidding me, the bare necessities played at full volume for a week straight because I showed Jacob the jungle book once and he was obsessed. He loved the monkey scenes
Davia smiles looking at the photos
DAVIA
Dennis, a bad father doesn't take his kid to disney... you know that
Dennis stares at the photos for a second as he starts deflate a little
DENNIS
No, but a bad father spends all but one day in the hotel working
Davia frowns and watches him scoop the photos up
DAVIA
What are you doing
DENNIS
(Clearly upset)
