Dennis sets a duffle bag on the table when he looks at Davia with her arms crossed
DENNIS
Quit pouting
DAVIA
I want to go with you
DENNIS
We talked about this Davia
DAVIA
I'm fine with camping, I have bug spray, let me come with you, or at least take one of the guys
DENNIS
I told you I need space from the Coterie, that includes the guys
DAVIA
(Mumbles)
And me..
DENNIS
baby, I love you, I really do and if this was any other situation I would take you, but you know I need space and that I need to learn to not depend on you...and let's be honest you get pissed when night bugs bite you up by the pool, this a week long camping trip...with all the bugs, all the sounds, sleeping on the floor of a tent
Davia smiles as she steps closer to him
DAVIA
And I understand the health reason for this trip...but if you Let me go with you then we can make it a date trip and have sex in the woods...
Dennis smiles as he puts his hands on her cheeks
DAVIA
Come on, we can actually use our outside voices without trying to be respectful to others..
DENNIS
(Chuckles)
Temping..really really temping, but I think this is something I have to do on my own
DAVIA
(Sighs)
where are you going? I need to know that at least
DENNIS
Kings canyon
DAVIA
Dennis that's 5 hours away, what Campground
DENNIS
First off Sentinel Campground, second its 5 hours yes but I want to be out of the city as much as I can
Davia crosses her arms
DAVIA
It's too far...
DENNIS
I'm gonna be fine
Davia frowns as she looks at Alice walking out of her room
Dennis looks down at his phone
DENNIS
Uber's downstairs, do you wanna go down with me..we'll take the slow elevator
Davia nods
ALICE
Have fun on your trip
DENNIS
See ya
Davia walks out with Dennis and steps in to the elevator
Dennis watches her lean against the wall as he presses the button. He steps in front her and smiles
DAVIA
Dont try to make out with me, I'm very upset right now
Dennis grabs her chin lightly and makes her look up at him
DENNIS
Forget about me leaving...kiss me
Davia smiles as she leans up and kisses him
Dennis slowly kisses her back
Davia slides her hands up and down his chest
Dennis slides his hands down to her hips as he kisses down her neck quickly and pressed her against the wall
Davia closes her eyes slowly, she leans her head back against the wall as she feels his hands on her hips
DAVIA
(Chuckles)
