It's your first day at your new school. You're nervous to be the new kid so you walked as slowly as you could up the steps in front of the school. Many people pushed past you and others told you to get out of their way but you just ignored them and continued to walk slowly up the steps. When reaching the top of the stairs you made your way to the office to get your timetable. Just as your were being handed the slip of paper the bell rang so you headed off to your first class of the day. Science. "Great." You mumbled to yourself. You had always found science to not only be the hardest subject but also the most boring. You reached your class 10 minutes after the bell so walking in was extremely awkward with everyone starring at you. You walked up to the teachers desk and asked where to sit. "Over there, next to Luke." He said in a harsh tone, pointing the only spear seat. It was right at the back of the classroom next to a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. You took your seat next to him placing your bag under your desk as the teacher picked back up the lesson. "Hi." You heard a whisper from beside you. You looked to your left to see the boy Luke looking at you with a smile. "Hi." You shyly whispered back. "What's your name." He asked. "Y/N." You said shyly back not meaning to sound so awkward. "I'm Luke, but you probably already figured that." He said. You let out a little chuckle at how he also sounded awkward. "You have a cute laugh." Luke said out of nowhere. You felt your cheeks instantly heat up. "Sorry I didn't mean to say that." He said awkwardly looking at his hands trying to laugh it off. "It's okay, you do too." You didn't realize what you had just said till it escaped your lips. "Sorry." You said now being the one awkwardly trying to laugh it off. "Wanna do something after school?" Luke asked randomly and you felt your smile grow bigger. "Of corse." You replied thinking to yourself that maybe science won't be so bad anymore.
