Secret

Time Skip: February, one week before Valentine's Day.

Throughout the time, Todoroki and Deku talked everyday and things got a little awkward sometimes. During the Sports Festival, they went against each other but they didn't want to hurt each other. Deku realized the relationship between Todoroki and his father Endeavor. During the battle, Deku had his fingers broken as Todoroki didn't want to use his left side after what happened to his mother.

Until...

"IT'S YOURS! YOUR QUIRK! NOT HIS!" Deku screamed.

Todoroki finally understood, but Deku ended losing the battle anyway. Todoroki felt guilty and apologized.

"It's alright, Todoroki! I just wanted to..." Deku paused for a moment.

"Thank you for helping me!" Todoroki smiled.

"But it's my-"

"No! It's not!"

Deku's POV:
It was a week before Valentine's Day and I was thinking of some ideas for Todoroki's gift. I wrote some down like either to give him a box of candy or give him flowers.
During lunch, I found Shinsou and walked up to him.
"Hi Shinsou!" I said.
"Hello Midoriya!" He said.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked.
"Of course!" He said.
"Since it's one week before Valentine's Day! You see... I'm in love with Todoroki... and..."
"Can't think of an idea of what to give him?"
"Yeah..."
"Maybe you should write him a love letter! Tell him how you feel!"
"I'm nervous! I just don't think he'll love me back!"
"You don't know unless you try!"
I smiled and hugged him.
"Thank you so much!" I said
"No problem! If he doesn't, just accept it, maybe you can still be friends!" He said.
"Thanks again!" I said rushing to get to the lunch line.
I sat in a table with the others and wrote a letter as I waited for Todoroki to sit.
"Hey Midoriya!" Hagakure said.
I startled as I looked up to her.
"Oh, hey Hagakure!" I said.
"What are you writing?" She asked.
I hid the letter nervously.
"Oh, I-it's nothing!" I said.
"Come on! Spill it!" She said excitedly.
"Hagakure... it's not good to force someone to tell a secret." Tsu said.
"Midoriya is hiding a secret! And I want to know!" Hagakure said.
"Okay... please keep this a secret..." I said nervously.
"I... I... I'm in-"
"YOU'RE IN LOVE!?" Mina said loudly.
I turned red and got nervous.
"Is it Todoroki!? You always talk to him more than the rest of us!" Hagakure said excitedly.
"Well..." I stuttered.
"What's going on?" Todoroki asked as stood behind everyone else.
"Oh, Todoroki! Midoriya was talking about-"
"Talking about how COOL YOUR QUIRK IS!" I said nervously.
"You really think so!?" He asked.
"Yeah! Cooler than mine!" I replied.
"Thanks! You don't have to judge your own quirk!" He smiled.
I blushed and smiled.

Todoroki's POV:
I didn't know what they were talking about but what Midoriya thought about my quirk was delightful.
Could it mean he feels the same way?
I had a lot of thinking, but Midoriya could be hiding something and I really want to know. After school, I was thinking about writing a love letter to him but I'm nervous about what he'll say. I'm just hoping he won't hate me.
