I Love You

~The Day of Valentine's Day~
-At School-

Deku's POV:
I was excited but nervous at the same time to give my love letter to Todoroki, but I was confident to hope he would feel the same way.
I took a few deep breaths and Uraraka walked up to me as usual.
"So what did you get for Todoroki!?" She asked.
"Well... it's a love letter! Could you read it? I just want to make sure it's great!" I said nervously.
"Of course!" She said as she read it.
"Deku! I think this is perfect!" She said cheerfully.
"You really think he'll like it?" I asked.
"I'm sure he'll love it!" She said.
"Thanks, Uraraka!" I said as I sat on my desk.
Kacchan came up to me and took my letter.
"What's this for?" He asked.
I got nervous.
"That's mine! Give it back!" I said as I tried to grab it.
"Is it for Icy-Hot?" He laughed as he made the letter blow away with burn marks.
I didn't say anything, I couldn't move and I was sad. I could feel all the emotions I've had before and it was running in my head.
"What's wrong, Deku?" Kacchan said.
I was angry and I didn't want to start a fight or anything, I just ran off to the boy's bathroom and cried.

Todoroki's POV:
I saw Midoriya running in the hallway, I was happy to give him my letter until he ran passed me and I was confused. When I got to the classroom, I heard my classmates getting angry and I think it might've had something to do with Bakugou.
"That was messed up, Bakugou!" Kaminari said disgusted.
"Yeah, you should be ashamed of yourself!" Iida said angrily.
Bakugou laughed.
Class started and Mr. Aizawa asked where Izuku was and we all responded was we didn't know. 10 minutes later, Izuku arrived and he didn't seem happy.
"You're late, Midoriya!" Mr. Aizawa said.
"I'm really sorry!" Izuku said quietly and something seemed off.
"This is a warning! Next time, you'll have detention!" Mr. Aizawa said.
"Yes sir, I'm really sorry!" Izuku said and it seemed like he wanted to cry.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"Yeah! I'm great!" He said.
"Are you sure?" I asked concerned.
"Yeah..." he responded.
I was confused, he didn't seem happy as he usually be and I think it might've been why the class was angry with Bakugou.
After school ended, Izuku walked away and I walked up to the others.
"What happened before I got here?" I asked.
"Oh, Todoroki! Midoriya wanted to give you a letter for Valentine's Day but Bakugou ended up destroying! It's not in pieces but it has burn marks!" Mina said sadly handing me the letter. I read it and I thought it was the best thing I've ever heard.

Todoroki,
I've never told you this but before I met you, my world was crumbling and I thought there was no such thing as light. When you came into my life, your smile brightened my world and you saved me from Kacchan. The words I said to you at the Sports Festival, I didn't know you had a difficult relationship with your father. I just wanted to say, I love you! No, it's not a joke, but I mean it! I want you to know that I love you for who you are not for what you are or what your quirk is! When you saved me from Kacchan, you taught me so many things! You're my hero, Shoto Todoroki! I love you!

I smiled very big and told Mina thanks as I left to look for Izuku. He wasn't in the bathroom, so I figured he was outside walking home by himself. I ran to his house and knocked on his door, but it was his mother who opened the door.
"Oh, hello! Todoroki!" She said.
"Is Izuku here?" I asked.
"Oh, no! He isn't here yet! Do you know where he is?" She asked.
"No, but I'll go look for him!" I said as I ran off.
"Thank you, be safe!" She yelled.

I looked around the neighborhood but I couldn't find, I even asked people walking around and they answered no. 

Deku's POV:
I was walking to the city bridge and I felt bad that I didn't talk to Todoroki, but it didn't matter to me anymore because I was going to jump off and die.
After I left school, I told Uraraka I would be taking a walk to the bridge and lied I would be okay.
"DEKU! WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T KILL YOURSELF! I'M SURE YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO BE WITH TODOROKI! IT DOESN'T MATTER IF BAKUGOU RUINED IT, YOU CAN STILL BE WITH HIM!" She cried.
I ignored as I cried.
As I got to the bridge, I was starting to reflect on my life, and the words All Might told me.
"YOUNG MAN, YOU TOO CAN BECOME A HERO"
I'm sorry, All Might! I failed you! I'm sorry, Todoroki!
I deserve to die anyway and I'll never forget Todoroki and the memories we've had.

Todoroki's POV:
I ran fast as I could to the city bridge after Uraraka told me that he wanted to kill himself. I had sick feelings about it because I didn't know what I'd do without him.
Luckily, I got there on time but Izuku climbed up and prepared to jump.
"IZUKU!!!" I screamed.
He jumped and I used to my ice powers to try to catch him. I caught him in my arms and landed on the other side of the bridge.
"Shoto?" He said.
I cried and hugged him.
"Why did you save me?" He asked crying.
"Because I don't want anything to happen to you!" I cried.
"But why?" He asked.
"Because I love you!" I said.
He was shocked and I showed the letter he wanted to give me. He cried and cried in my chest.
"I'm sorry!" He cried.
"You don't have to be because I wanted to tell you too!" I said showing him my letter.
He read it and cried more as I hugged him tightly.
When he stopped, we looked at each other for a bit and kissed. I walked him home as his mother was relieved to see him. We confessed and his mother happily accepted and welcomed me anytime at the house.
