Chapter Fourty-Five

(Haven't fine one of these in awhile)

Mina's POV

"Sero, I have a problem," I say as we drive away from school.

"Is it that you haven't seen Denki or Bakubro today since lunch? Cause that's what my problem is."

I blow a raspberry. "My problem is a lot bigger, and I'm sure they're fine."

"It's Denki. A pregnant, scatterbrained Denki and quite possibly with a hot headed, dumb blonde."

"...Good point. But ask me what my problem is!"

He sighs and laughs. "What's your problem, Mina."

"Thank you, kind sir for asking! I have caught feelings for someone." I close my eyes a little and swerve in my bright pink truck. "Whoops."

"First of all: don't kill me. Second of all: who? I thought you said you were done with dating after Yuki." I looks at me quizzically.

I sigh. "I know, I know. I thought I was done for awhile too. But alas, this heart of mine could not stop feeling. Woe is me!"

"You're so dramatic. It's a good thing you're doing dancing to get all that drama out of your system."

I shrug. "You still love me though."

"Sadly. You never answered me. Who is it?"

I turn to him. "First of all: rude. And it's... well... it's Uraraka. Y'know the one that's Midoriya's best friend?"

"Mina..."

"I know I know! She has a girlfriend. It's just... I had started to get a crush on her ever since she joined the dance team at UA... and then we exchanged number last week, and we haven't stopped talking since."

He groans. "Why do you always go for the hard ones?"

"I really don't know..."

I peeks from between his fingers from where he was covering his face. "Did she mention her girlfriend when you guys talked?"

"That's just it! She hasn't! Everyone I ever met talks about whoever their dating at least once or twice, especially because I know they're dating. So, what did I do? I asked someone who had known her a long time to see how she acted."

He groans again as we come to a stop in front of my house. I get out of the car as he continues to shake his head. "That's so stalkerish... I'm digging it. Who'd you ask?"

"Tokoyami and his... twin. He dated Tsu, so he had to hang out with Uraraka, right? They were best friends before the dated. And he said she used to talk all the time about people she was with or liked. So that is a clue that she might be into me!"

He nods as I unlock the front door. My momma works, and my dad doesn't live with us obviously. My parents are divorced. Fun times.

"What was the last thing she sent you?"

"What's just it again! She was like 'can't wait to see you at school today winky face'."

He raises his eyebrows. "No. Really? She knows you like girls right? So she's just not doing that fake flirting that girls do."

"That's what I thought she might be doing- by the way Eiji is gonna be here soon to hang out too- but she knows I'm pan. And I've kinda given her a few hints? Y'know, over explained certain things. Complimented her a lot."

He hums and sits on my bed as we eat some ice cream from those giant cartons. "Maybe you should get her to talk about Tsuyu. Then you can see where they are in their relationship, so you know how far you can get in you two's."
