The Music in Us

Chapter Seven

Todoroki's POV

Soon enough everyone else wakes up, confused as fuck.

"Dude, what happened last night?" Shinsou asks, and we all just start laughing. For no apparent reason.

We all stop laughing, but Ura keeps going, and her laugh is more like a shriek.

Tsu starts laughing at her girlfriend again, then we all start again.

We (finally) all calm down and sigh.

"Well, get all your shit, and let's get out of here!"

They all nod at me, and soon enough we're out the door.

We get into the car and play more chill music, since we're all really tired. The wind isn't in our hair, since I put the top on.

"Shinsou, I'll drop you off first, okay?"

He nods. I'm just dropping him off first, since my boyfriend's in his lap...

We get to his house, and he breaths in deeply.

"Well, here we go. I'm ready to be yelled at."

"I'm going to come in with you, Shin. I need to explain to your parents what happened. It's only fair," I say.

We're both about to get out of the car, but Tsu speaks up first. "Aren't your parents both at work?"

Both him and I breath out of relief.

"Thank god! I did not want to deal with my dads."

We laugh and watch him go into his house.

"Tsu, I'll drop you off."

"Okay. My mom should be home."

I nod. "I'll come in with you to explain."

I drive a couple minutes to her house and park, leaving the keys in.

"Let's go, Tsu."

"Okay."

She turns around on Ura's lap and kisses her, but they pull away, and Tsuyu jumps over Momo to get out.

I walk up to her house with her, and she unlocks the door, walking in.

"Momma?"

"Tsu? Is that you?" Her mom comes around the corner and smiles. "Hello, Todoroki. How are you?"

"Hello, Mrs. Asui. I have something I need to explain..."

She brings me over to the couch and sits down, so I sit in the chair in front of her.

"Well, Tsu didn't come over to my house last night. We all actually went out and used my dad's debit card to buy a bunch of stuff... It was all my idea! Please don't blame anything on Tsu."

She looks at us with wide eyes before she starts laughing. Tsu and I look at her like she's crazy.

"Oh, Todoroki. It's okay. I don't really mind. Tsu, you still have to go to school, Okay? Go get ready." Tsu gets up and goes to her room with her new stuff. "And thank you for coming in here to explain. You're a good friend."
