Downfall (Anakin Skywalker x Reader)

Anakin's pov 

She took the controls for the ship to help land on to coruscant safety and then (y/n) looked still frustrated. But I was greeted by the Jedi masters hoping I will be one, one day like (y/n). but then I saw my wife waiting for me as I walked to her and I kissed her and said " It feels like it's been a lifetime." and Padme said, " Yes it feels like it has too, but Ani I have wonderful news, I'm Pregnant." I looked at her, I couldn't believe my eyes I was so happy as I hugged her. 

(y/n)'s pov 

          As I saw Anakin and Obi-wan making fun of the general I stepped in the room grievous fixed his eyes on me. But I looked at Anakin looking sad because he looked at the scar that I had from fighting the droids. But I looked at General Grievous and he said, " General (y/n) you always were a reckless Jedi I ever dealt with so don't say anything that will make you regret it." I started laughing and said," General Grievous, your jokes pleased me." I faked wiping a tear from my eyes as I winked at Anakin and Anakin exactly knew what to do. His distraction was making corny jokes that made me laugh. I used my force to get the lightsabers that were taken from all three of us. General grievous turned to the droids and said: "kill them all." I looked at the droids that were charging at me and I felt my anger bubbling up again as I sliced the droids with no emotion, no regrets. Then I saw General Grievous getting away then I got angry and frustrated and I could see Obi-Wan and Anakin looking concerned for me.

I took the controls and tried to make a safe landing on coruscant but it was harsh as I stomped out of the ship and directly when to the medical bay for the scar on my right eye.  As I got to the medical bay the droid asked me " What do you need help with?" I pointed to my right eye and said: "I need you to heal the cut I have right here." The droid helped and said "There will be a scar there." and I just walked away and said, "thank you." But then I was called into a meeting and I came into the room and Anakin was standing in the middle of the circle not knowing what's going on.

Mace looked deeply disappointed and that when I knew I wasn't going to be a master anymore and Anakin not going to receive the rank of master. I asked," Why was I brought in this meeting." Mace shook his head and said (y/n) and Anakin we have a new mission for you and it's to end the war with the separatists. Anakin And I looked shocked and I said: " why do you look disappointed Master Windu."   Master Windu replied with sternness in his voice and said:" you let General Grievous getaway." 

"But Master Windu, you never said anything about the General or even mentioned him to me." I backed myself up 

Master Windu never really liked when I would talk back to him. But I never made it a big deal.
