Surviving the undead

They turn to face me and I now see the baby in A girl with orange hairs arms. She has green eyes and freckled face same with the little girl with her.

"Jane?Lilly?"

I ask them, they hug me tight. I wanted to cry at this very moment. They were apart of my old group, Jane hands the baby over to me.

"How did you guys get here?"

I ask them and play with Kylie, the baby. It's a family friends son, but she died sadly.

"Can we talk alone please?"

Jane asked and Ryan takes Lily and Kylie outside.

"What's up?"

I ask her and sit next to her.

"Have people being following and attacking you?"

She begins to say and waits for an answer. I nod my head and starts talking again.

"Jake is looking for you.. He wants you to come to his camp."

"Why me?"

I say letting my throughs come out aloud.

"Because.. He wants to sort things out with you."

"We both know he's gonna lie.. Is their any point?"

I ask her, she looks at the ground and plays with some grass.

"It's good your not gonna go."

"Why?"

I ask her clearly confused.

"We both know he ain't gonna let you come back here."

"True."

She decides to change the subject to lighten the mood.

"So you and Ryan are a couple now?"

"And I'm out."

I say and try to stand up but, she pulls me back down. She's smiling like an dope who's high.

"Why?"

"We are in the middle of trying to survive the undead and you are asking about dudes?"

"Yes.. My step brother to be correct."

I roll my eyes at her and she gasps.

"You do like him."

"Once again I'm out."

I say and this time she lets me leave. I can hear her laughing in the background still. I see Ryan outside and now he's grinning. Freaking mind reading stuff right there. I speed walk pass him and he laughs as well. Oh boy, it's gonna be along night. I go and find my uncle who's yelling at people. Nothing usual here, I tap his shoulder.

"Yes Kat?"

He says impatiently.

"Can I walk on the wall?"

"Why? Your my flesh and blood.. I don't want you doing anything that could get you killed."

"Seriously this is bull.."

"Kat don't cruse."

"Turtles.. I like turtles.."

I say and grin at him he sends me away. I go into the garden and lay on the grass. I look up at the stars and daydream about my old life. The wanted poster, Ryan, the kids and of course my brother. Damn... Where is he? Is He deadddd? I don't know anymore. I pick up some grass and Lily comes our. I throw grass at her.

"Here eat grass."

I tell her and she giggles and lays next to me.
