Chapter 26: Affection

TP's POV

Lisa immediately removed her hand from Mina's and stood up, approaching the girl. But Jennie stepped back. Being skeptical about what's happening and only believes what she just saw, she gasped and ran outside Mina's unit.

"Jen! Wait! Sht!"

Lisa immediately grabbed her clothes from the bathroom and wears them fast one by one. Mina clenched her eyes tight and thought of Jennie and whatever she feels when her cousin saw them.

"Li— I have to follow her quick. I am so sorry, Mina-ssi. She clearly has mistaken with all of this."

"You're panicking too much."

"I don't want my girlfriend to be mad at something we didn't do. I'll explain everything to her, Mina."

Lisa didn't even say goodbye to Mina and dashed out of her unit. Mina sniffed hard while cleaning her wound by herself.

'That stupid girl. Did she really think I would do something to Lisa? Tss.' Mina thinks.

Lisa ran fast and saw Jennie on the side walk and reached her arm to call for a taxi.

"Jen! Wait! Let me— "

A car stopped in front of Jennie and she immediately gets in. Lisa ran after the car but it didn't stop.

"Nini.. sht! I hate myself right now!"

Lisa ran to her car and drives immediately. She pressed on the gas pedal harder. Few minutes of driving fast, she suddenly heard a siren behind her. She glanced at her rearview mirror and side mirrors then saw a police mobil following her.

"Sht! Why now!?" Lisa hits her steering wheel angrily.

"Pull over, miss." The policeman said while motioning his hand to the side.

Lisa clenched her eyes and slowed down and stopped to the side. The mobil stopped in front of her and the guy went down.

"Can I see your license, miss?"

"Sir, please.. I'm following someone. I didn't know I was over the li— License please."

Lisa gritted her teeth and grabbed her bag angrily. She took out her wallet and showed her license.

"I'll be taking this with me, miss. You can claim this in the SCPD."

"What?" Lisa scowled.

"And here's the ticket. You're obviously overspeeding."

"I know that! I told you I was— Have a good day, miss."

The officer went back to his car without letting Lisa explain herself.

"Have a good day? Screw you!" Lisa hits her wheel again.

She rubs her face harshly and continued driving. Lisa arrived at the Kim's. She got down and rings the doorbell. The maid opened the gates for her.

"Uhh.. is Jennie there?"

"She is, ma'am. I'll call her for you. Please come in." The maid said and Lisa went inside the house.

"I'll just call her." the maid said.

"Yeah.. thank you."

"Lisa.. good evening. What happened? I saw Jennie earlier dashing inside her room and closed the door loudly." Mrs. Kim said.

Lisa just bent her head. The maid went back before she could answer.

"Ma'am, she said she's resting and don't want any disturbance." The maid said.
