Chapter 40: Juice

TP's POV

The girls started eating and drinking. Chaeng and Jisoo is not yet done with the porks but they've cooked few already. Lisa is busy cutting them into pieces while the others are swimming already.

"Jisoo unnie, Chaeng.. change first. I'll sub with you guys for a while." Lisa chuckled.

"Gosh. My shirt smells like smoke already." Chaeng mutters while sniffing.

While Jisoo keeps on coughing and wiping her eyes, sniffing from time to time.

"Chu, let's change?"

"Yeah.. Lisa, just finish this first and we'll cook the rest later."

"Alright, Chu."

Lisa chuckled and teased the two. That nickname is used only by Chaeyoung to Jisoo. And she didn't actually notice she called her by that again. Lisa took over by the grill. She's not worried about smelling like smoke because she's wearing her sports bra and a shorts for swimming.

Jennie is busy laughing with the others but she's not yet swimming. She's quietly glancing at Lisa from time to time. The girls are playing pool volleyball. They keep on laughing at Jihyo and Wendy because they're on the same team and afraid of the ball.

Jennie stood up and walks to the table. Lisa looked at her.

"Hey.. Jisoo unnie and Chaeng are changing."

"Lisa! You're burning the meat! Gosh! Give me that!"

"Oh.. I didn't know."

"Why did they even let you cook.. they know you're worse at cooking."

"Wow. Three strikes in less than a minute."

"Sorry.. hays. Anyway, I saved it. It's not that burned. It looks fine. But you have to remove it already."

"Yes, ma'am."

"And don't eat yet! Aish!"

"Why are you yelling.. you're scary, you know that."

"Shut up!"

"Oh.. your veins, Nini.. chill."

Lisa grabbed the scissors again and cut the meats.

"Are these the last porks?"

"Nope. There are some in the cooler. Jisoo unnie said they will cook the rest later. This are too many already."

"Yeah.." Jennie said after putting the last grilled meat on the plate.

Lisa looked at her and motioned a meat near her mouth.

"Is it hot?" Jennie asks. Lisa blows on it for a sec and Jennie eats it.

"It's hot." Jennie chuckled but eat it anyway and drinks beer.

Lisa's just watching her drink. Then her eyes turned to her neck and farther down. Jennie slaps her playfully when she noticed her stares. Lisa chuckled and turned to the meat again.

"My eyes hurt."

"Woo!"

Lisa and Jennie turned to Jisoo and Chaeyoung.

"Jen, let's go swim!" Chaeng pulled Jennie's hand and ran to the pool.

"Wait." Jennie removed her see-through shirt and threw it on the chair and ran back to the pool. Then they joined the others on playing.

Few minutes and Lisa is still staring at Jennie. She keeps on taking deep breaths while watching her play. She's just sitting on the chair. She glanced at the beer again.
