Read Only..

I get these weird cravings sometimes
I want to scroll up our chats.
Read them all over again,
Analyze them again,
Find the exact moment I was lost forever.

But I stop myself,
Because I know if I read them again, I'll just find myself laughing,
I'll just fall deeper and deeper,
I'll just be reminded of how very real these feelings are for me,
and just for me.

You've got me wishing the past wasn't read only. But I guess everything happens for a reason.
