As the silence between them reached a stifling point, Luca knew that he had to gain ground, moving within touching distance to her, he placed a finger under chin, lifting her head up to lock eyes with him.

He gave her a gentle smile, "I am not angry that it happened." He stated, "I am just upset that I didn't appreciate the fact at the time."

Jade blushed in mortification, trying to avert her gaze, her mind in turmoil at the turn of events, she had prepared herself for the ranting and raving, but nowhere in her musings did she come anywhere near to him being so understanding of the situation.

"What have you decided to do?" She asked instead, rather than admit to his declaration of knowing that she had been a virgin.

Luca knew what he had to do, the moment his wolf had uttered the word mate, the bond he had denied himself in the past had snapped into place, alerting him to the fact that Jade had been all along his second chance mate.

Moving his hand to the back of her neck, he lowered his head and brushed his lips against hers, "I think I would like to explore this attraction further and at a much more pleasurable pace." He replied huskily against her lips.

Holding her stunned eyes with his, he hovered over her trembling lips, watching and waiting as arousal finally seeped into her eyes, her eyes assuring him that this was exactly what she wanted.
